banega would be quality, his passing is top, although maybe not the type of midfielder we're looking for
He has played attacking midfielder on occasions for Wigan as well as on the wings. His pace is phenomenal and he can beat a man with ease. He is proven in the League and would be quite cheap as well. Not the best of attitudes though.
It wouldn't surprise me if we didn't buy anyone else. My midfield and attack could be something like this: Valencia---Carrick--Anderson--Nani Young Rooney
I also wouldn't be surprised if we don't buy anyone else. What I'd like to see is Anderson Nani and Rooney as an interchangeable 3 behind the striker, moving around all over the place. Won't happen though, especially now we've bought England's Ashley Young.
N'Zogbia? He's okay but not United standard. He'd do a decent job for a midtable team like Liverpool.
We really do need a central midfielder. Banega would be class and looks very good for Valencia. De Rossi would be my first choice for the present and I also like the look of Thiago but doubt Barca would sell. However, I would not be surprised if we did not sign anyone else.
Young has played in the centre and from what I've heard he was pretty good playing just behind the striker and using his pace to get into either side. However, the media hype suggests that he'll be a winger. In regards to a central midfielder I think that Ravel Morrison is ready to step up into first team action, whether it be at United or on loan somewhere. From what I've watched the guy has a bright future ahead of him and I'd be surprised if he couldn't make the leap to the first-team.
