hear hear!!! Every time I pop on the thread list and see it back nearer the top of the page I get a little excited then frustrated when I click on it and see that basically there is no real news! Unless he signs or is at least pictured crossing the Wearmouth Bridge then I think we should just forget about him!

TBH mate, it's frustrating and bound to wind people up even though what you say has some merit.

The media is not influencing my opinion mate the opinion is my own - the fact he has kept his mouth shut tells me doesn't want to be here -I certainly don't think or say Gus is a liar - just reckon he's been misled - just my opinion mate

I understand fella. But lashing out is a tad bit immature, we've got not control of what's going to happen. This transfer window has been great for me. It's stopped an obsession dead in it's tracks. I've not looked at news now in nearly a month. I'd trawl the net looking for transfer news and new information. The nature of our business has given me two choices. 1. moan, lash out and point the finger based on information that provides no proof. Spending my days wound up making knew jerk judgements on the latest nothing story 2. Just chill the **** out and let it run it's course reserving judgement until I know the facts.

If he comes he comes, if he doesn't it will be somebody else. I'm at peace me

What gets me about this drama is, we know his prior deals/transfers are complex, we know Liverpool have agreed to our asking price (in principal) we know there has been an injury worry, we know Borini liked his time here and we know there has been dialogue between him and Poyet.

Now considering players are advised to keep their mouths shut during negotiations and whatever, they still manage to use other mediums, such as, Fb and Twitter etc to give hints away, how come anyone remotely connected or involved in this transfer hasn't stated or hinted that the lad simply will not or does not want to play for Sunderland ?

    What a f*ckin' drama !

Fair do's fella. I try to build my opinions on facts myself but fair play. It could be one of three things the way I look at it. 1 He doesn't want to come. 2. His agent is making things difficult. 3. Liverpool are holding it up. the only quoted information dismisses number 1 and that all I have to go on. I'll keep an open mind and just see what happens.

Any professional player won't comment on impending transfers. I won't hold that against him.

Exactly why I wouldn't live there. Great for getting trashed and doing things that are despicable though. :D

Bloody detest London-I lived there and worked there - the excessive noise, the hustle and bustle, the expense, crowds, pollution, even the cultural aspect with its music and fine art attractions - I'm not remotely tempted to visit! ... must be an age thing <laugh>

The last player we signed who mouthed off about coming here was Bent.

We all know how that ended, Fabio is right to keep a low profile until a decision is made, whether that be his, ours or Liverpools!

And if correctly reported in the under 21s at Liverpool, gus, congerton and short, now that's heavyweight for such a match surely, also can't believe I'm commenting on this damned post again ffs

I couldn't live anywhere in the country other than London personally. Think it's an inner city upbringing that did it.

Don't know fella. Not Borini :p Only find it strange that Ellis is there. Maybe Congerton is presenting his development plans to Short and Gus. It would make sense. It could even be facility related.
