Just had a look over the Yarmouth card and not to much to get excited by, I have found a three of interest for small stakes. Yarmouth 3.00 Vainglory 9-2 A decision has to be taken with regard this horse, it's either finished with racing and has fallen out of love with it or it has not. If it has not then this is a cracking bet. This horse has never run in a class 5 handicap in it's life and yet tomorrow gets the chance t do so as it's mark has fallen to 75. The favourite will be well backed but this horse could be the value. 4.00 Indian Tinker 4-1 (Non Runner) The last race this horse ran in and won holds the key to this in my opinion as he beat Vodka Chaser and It Must be Faith who re-oppose, whilst I could not put anyone off a case for either of those two I believe Indian Tinker will confirm form and win. 4.30 Elizona 15-8 (Non Runner) This horse ran in two very decent maidens before a facile victory at 1-20 on in a Lingfield maiden. She is not thrown in off of a mark of 80 but I believe her to be the most progressive in a field of more exposed horses. That they are exposed does not make them poor however and Red Palladin is to be feared and possibly put with the selection in a forecast, and Jungle bay for third spot.
Yarmouth 230 interesting maiden handicap J Best has 2 entered my interest won't surprise many of you at 25s plus . I think the bookies are taking a massive chance on this I watched YANKEE RED in April take second at 66s here . Yankee had yet to return to good ground and he seemed to enjoy the galloping track that day plus the weight looks very nice indeed. Good luck all
Not seen the race nor the distance lady lost by I'm with stick on the next one just hope Morgan kick stone at the right time
If Ela Goog La Mou was even half as good as Ela Mana Mou she'd win this by a distance. She does have a good chance on her last running however ... small beer only.
The great man Bernard Bresslaw as Bungdit Din - on of the finest acting performances ever witnessed I would still place it just behind his masterful performance as Upsidaisi in Carry On Up The Jungle. His dialogue with Sid James (Bill Boosey ) absolutely memorable: "Dicka nookie?".."nookie dickie boss.."
The first race at Worcester was a total farce. Not having had a bet I thoroughly enjoyed it!. Worth a watch.
According to Racing Post and ATR that takes him to 97 for the season. Sporting Life had him on 97 prior to today but I think they're talking bollocks. So 3 more tonight for the century - it would be his fastest ever (previous best was 4th September).
Still in the holiday house in Denmark. It's been pissing down all day, gale force winds and about 14°C. Just been to the supermarket with the kids, got them some snap and sweets, beer for me (**** me Danish beer is expensive) and we're now back at the house, wood fire going nicely, laptop fired up watching ATR and having a cold beer. Beans on toast with fried egg and sausages tonight - beat that for style
Temple Lord definitely has a chance. Won of this mark last year at this course. They've stuck a visor on. Each way poke at 7/1
Enjoy Denmark Oddy. I'm just back from honeymoon in Mexico. Was greeted in Belfast airport by a stormy shower which felt like it came from the Arctic. Welcome home
