If you cap the youngsters wages the rich clubs will by-pass the rules by paying the parents even more than they do now. I remember reports that when one of our much heralded youngsters moved his parents were given a late 4-Bedroom house, a large car and a very well paid job for looking after the young fella and ferrying him about to training, matches etc. Wage caps are too easy to bypass
How about having a form of trust fund. They can still earn the money but it is placed into trust whereby a combination of parents and club representatives determine how it is used until they reach say 21? An example might be taking money out to buy a car ... no problem, just not £150,000 for a Ferrari!

Fair, but you would think our style of play would suit him more than Albions no? After the style he was used to at Swansea which saw his best form.
Not talking specifically about these players, but if a player has the weapons, he can be successful at one club and not another. Though a pattern of being unsuccessful would be worrying.
