Ah, I see. So it's one of those "Sky invented football" records that LFC fans are so derisive off unless it benefits them. They beat us last season. And on five or six previous occasions in the league. A record is something of historic significance. You might as well say LVG set a record by being the first Utd manager to beat Liverpool, Real and Valencia in pre season. Or Rodgers set a new record for Liverpool last season by being the first manager in its history to have a 3-0 lead over Crystal Palace and then draw 3-3. Or Costa set a record by being the first player called Diego to score against Burnley on his debut for Chelsea. If you have to prefix it with that many conditions, it's not a record that matters at all, just media spin.
Come on friends who support teams of northern origin.....lets all take a breath. I love the Man United/Liverpool rivalry.....such a big part of British football. The countries two most successful teams, historically speaking of course, going at it.....
It might be because my team won last night, or it could be that the genetic muscular disease I have necessitated the need for copious amounts of prescription pain killers this morning, or a combination of both
Cesc fabregas broke records last night by being the first cesc fabregas to play at turf moor on a monday night in august in the year 2014 #recordbreaking
****ing hell man, that's harsh. Isn't Fletcher one of those winners with whom Moyes should have produced a league title wining side? I agree we should have signed Faregas. This was around the time we were being conned into believing we were about to sign Kroos though. Cheers Ed.
Fletcher isnt good enough or fit enough and our constant hope that he will be is part of the problem. Keep him as a squad play sure. Dont rely on him ffs.
