no not really. i'm sorry but conaldo, gorilla boy and benzema are better. not only that but barcas goalkeeping, defence and midfield have disintegrated so overall real have the far better and more rounded team! 3 up front can't win on thier own.
Lucas and busquets? same difference. busquest is an exquisite diver so he suits barca's game. Its xavi being gone and iniesta fading whats their issue. They won't play mascherano in his best position and puyol is gone, pique is f'd and so is alves.

Saw interesting little stat yesterday - Gareth Barry is on his way to being the most yellow carded player in the history of the prem [he has 96, Bowyer, Davies both on 99] Added to that, Everton jointly top most red carded player [Ferguson] and most red carded team! Didn't know any of that, and Barry's so quiet.
i dont buy stats of this type jb, for one players like bale,ronaldo,luis,rooney,young etc should have way more cards than they do or did, also scholes couldn't tackle for ****, how many hundreds of yellows did he get away with as the excuse was ah bless its only little a scholes he cant tackle any way and means no harm. didn't realize barry was on that many though, but he is a cm player and that is where most cards get given any way i think.
You have to buy the stat though because it's a fact. What you don't have to buy is any tag line that goes with it saying 'dirtiest player' or such like the media choose to add on, because as you suggest, those type of descriptions are totally false since loads of players get away with stuff week in, week out - and conversely some of the cards given are undeserved. Still - it's interesting.
