That's rarely how it works mate, that's about as dated as air to surface attacks get. Intel will geolocate signals usually nowadays, then the coordinates are passed to (not necessarily in that country) ground commanders who will direct drones, or maybe not, maybe he'll just send choppers/jets over if the threat is real and/or imminent.

Having said that, ground forces are there, 100%

Yeah.. probably. But our own personal political views aside, soldiers and in particular highly trained soldiers... they actually want to go fight. It's what they're trained to do and if there's something like this going on, you won't find many of them being reluctant to go, quite the opposite. They likely relish a situation as we find it in northern iraq today.

If you spend 2-3 years training and being indoctrinated with aggression and violence you just want to go blow up some stuff. And a bunch of crazy religious zealots who appear to be indiscriminately slaughtering men, women and children make quite a welcome target.

I just figured Obamas a pretty cautious guy...he's waited quite a while before acting ... and since some of the vehicles used by ISIL are ex US equipment or equipment that is also currently being used at the same time still by iraqis and kurds I reckon there must be someone physically looking at whatever they're bombing before the bombs drop.

Definitely, the armed forces is full of people who just wanna kill enemy soldiers, born to fight, not all necessarily Marines or special forces lads either.

Comm can probably vouch for a shed load of those type of people, it's a different mind set being told you're going to fight and itching to be sent there. It was never for me going overseas I was too much of a joker and an idiot whilst I was in the forces, now maybe I'd be different but I can't stand authority so I'd still have those issues.

The downside these days, is the media, ****ing press, and a camera stuck in your face..A camera on your helmet, what the **** is that about.

Get them the **** out, let the lads do their job without any hassle, these raghead don't play by any rules, why should our lot..

There will be a lot wanting to go, sadly fighting with one hand behind your back, makes it a lot less fun...Fun, did i rally say fun?

Bomb the **** out of them, then just wade through the ****ers..It wouldn't be that hard given a level playing field. i.e no ****ing rules.

Helmet cams man, that's a ****ing joke.

I can't understand how some skinny little rat faced ****er has managed to engineer a set of red tape guidelines into a warzone. People like that are the worst people on the planet, the rule makers.

    pack of ****ers.

Well that's the thing isn't it, the US military already feels restricted in how many condition they've been handed while asked to keep Iraq afloat.

In terms of strategy...once ISIS goes pouring back over the border into Syria... it would be wiser for the US to really hit them hard as they retreat, otherwise they'll just be back for more in a few months. Where as if only very few return to their turf in Syria ISIS willl know better in the future not to go on an adventure like this one again. I don't even want to hear about it, but just make them understand the lesson. I don't see it happening though, and Obama nor us will get our armed forces involved in Syria.

I couldn't really give a sh1t about what's going on in Iraq, if I'm being honest. It's the enemy within that concerns me.

400 'British nationals' have left to go and fight for the IS over in Iraq and Syria. For a start, I would be blocking their re-entry back to the UK, if they feel that passionately about their 'new home' let them stay over there. I would also deport all of their immediate families.... And all of their cousins... And all of their close associates.... Also everybody they pray with at the mosque.... etc etc.

I agree with most of that, bar everyone they pray at the mosque with. You can't tar them all with the same brush. Certainly all the ones who go to these Mulsim speeches ran by extremists. I deport the lot of them straight away. How the hell does stuff like that go on down London and nobody says a word. They've been trying to build an Islamic learning centre in a village close to me for a few years now. They're no further forward because of the opposition. There's no way one of those Muslim rallies would take place in the north east.

When I was on fraud detection there was one family with about 110 registered residents living at the property, trying to get access to bank accounts for the one guy we were looking into was a ****ing nightmare, the old bill were sent round to ascertain some details for us and there were 8 living there and each one had a stack of passports each.

They were 'fiddling the system' as well as moving proceeds of crime around from selling illegal cigs. They had hundreds of unopened 'Urgent' letters demanding money on credit cards they'd taken out, not one of them was going to be paid. How do you sent somebody to jail who doesn't exist? They had inside people working at the council who were forging electoral roll certification, the plan would have worked a treat if they didn't get so ****ing greedy.

The woman could go to pick up 10 sets of benefit money each weak, how? The Burqa veil.

To clamp down on this the budget would have to be hundreds of millions but we were assigned almost nothing each year.

WOW! The crafty f**kers. I just think security risk and everything associated with it. I'd never even thought for one second about instances like this where it could benefit them

I've said for donkeys now that we need to be tighter with our benefits, it's a free ride for anybody coming here.

There's been hate preachers visit Laygate mosque and mosques up the west end, that's a well known fact mate. If we went to war, and I mean total war against the Islamic State, I would be concerned with an Islamic uprising in this country and attacks on this country by Muslims living here.

It's Hitler like, but I would set up concentration camps for all Muslims living here until the fighting is over and peace restored. I would also banish Islam from these shores then give them a chance of renouncing their religion or face deportation.

Mate that's the tip of the iceberg the stuff I could tell you is unbelievable, if you want to get an idea for how ridiculous it can get, you just need to scroll through the Crown/County/Mags webpages for areas with high density Islam populations there's probably a search you can do for specific buzzwords in cases. The amount of false name stuff is incredible.

Would you be able to spot a *****phile in a Burqa stood inside a school 'waiting to pick up their kids'?

You're a cleverer man that I am if you could.

It's essentially just a criminals disguise that a policeman cannot do anything about.

My mates daughter once broke down while driving through Bradford.
She was trying to get the RAC on her phone.
Some 'locals' told her to '**** off back to England, This is Pakistan.'

    First day at school

First day back at school in Birmingham.

The teacher began calling out the names of the pupils :

"Mustafa Al Eih Zeri ?" - "Here miss."

"Achmed El Kabul ?" - "Here miss."

"Fatima Al Hayek ? " - "Here miss."

"Ali Abdul Olmi ?" - "Here miss."

"Mohammed Bin Kadir ?" - "Here miss."

"Ali Son al En", silence in the classroom.

"Ali Son al En" - continued silence as everyone looked around the room.

The teacher repeated the call. A girl stood up and said,

"Sorry, miss, I think that's me. It's pronounced Alison Allen

TBH mate, it's how that part of the world has been for centuries ........ it won't change immediately or ever.

Anything else is just a wonderful impossible dream and actually none of our business, as bad as that sounds.
