I may well be wide of the mark here but I really can't see the Jocks voting for independence. But if they do then the complications for the British military would be difficult. I've worked with Scottish lads before & they were great but ****ing mental. Some of those Black Watch lads were ****ing insane. I sometimes wonder how some of them got on when they came out. I think some of them would have struggled in civvy street.
Has there been any proposals though to suggest how it would work? Surely they can't cherry pick soldiers based on nationality? There'd be soldiers who wouldn't want to do that, so it'd be essentially conscription. I'd assume they'd still want the UK/GB forces to protect them... for free? **** em, why should we? Will they fund our armed forces? I doubt it. **** them. From the dip tests I've seen it looks like a landslide YES vote, but it might be different when it comes to putting their X in the box. If we get shafted in England footing a bill for that bunch of junkie bastards (I know you like them Billy but I don't) **** will hit the fan.

I keep putting this ****e in the last poster wins thread... If Scotland gains its independence in the forthcoming referendum, the remainder of the United Kingdom will be known as the "Former United Kingdom" ......or FUK. In a bid to discourage the Scots from voting 'yes' in the referendum, the Government has now begun to campaign with the slogan "Vote NO, for FUK's sake" They feel the Scottish voters will be able to relate to this.
I don't know anything about it mate, there's a couple of Jock lads on my face book that never stop posting about it, so much that I have just started to ignore the whole thing. Last one I read was that they give money to Westminster and they don't get the same invested back into Scotland, I bet my life that those calculations don't include HM Forces, HMRC, UKBA & HMPS cost though and those bastards will all benefit from those services at one point or another. Sick of hearing that they'd be better off without us, I bet it would take them less than 3 years to be in a world of s**t.
For me it is a far wider problem than the area where Islamic State is fighting at present, and drastic action needs to be taken in western countries such as ours. For starters I would reclassify the term treason to incorporate "British nationals" who promote Sharia Law. I would also like to see the wearing of the full faced burqa banned from public places in the UK.

Yeah they don't look exactly elite, but do you think the ISIS guys know what they're doing? They're a bunch of nutters who had momentum, now they bit off more than they can chew. Yesterday the US used bombers for the first time... you going to tell me the bombers are picking targets from the air? What from 35000 feet? Like hell they are. There must be quite a few US special forces on the ground now directing the air strikes. Question is, are our forces there as well? ... I wouldn't bet against it. Don't we always want to go buddy buddy with the yanks after all. Good thing is, ISIS will be crawling back into Syria within a week or two. Of course if the iraqis or kurds at least can't get their **** together ISIS will be back as soon as they feel it's good to do so. But for now they won't want to hang around when they're being blown up out of the blue and can't even see what's hitting them.
