Weirdly enough, the only person not whining in all this is Castro, he's just carried on spouting his repetitive ****e.

While you get all sensitive about it, and as usual, offended by mention of people having served in the forces (Obligatory laugh smiley: <laugh>)(cheers btw Chazz, no need to get OLM all worked up about that, not everyone's cut out for a career in service, medical reasons, moral reasons, its fine, and, it was 23 years ya cheeky fook). He's had a dig, I've had a dig back, neither of us are overly upset by any of the other ****e posted, yet you seem to think he needs a protector.

    Why is that?

Maybe its because he know's I'm not wishing any harm on him, I was just using, the same as he has, the information we've both posted on here about our situations, and made light of it. You on the other hand are just over reacting, all offended on someone else's behalf because I posted something. I'd doubt very much if Castro had an issue he'd go crying to you like our resident bigot does to Dutch, he'd either post in the open, or he'd PM me. So, stop being offended on his behalf.

You should calm down a little, won't be doing you any good at all all this excitement, over a forum thread, which isn't about you.

<laugh> I'm not offended and I'm not being sensitive, I just said it was a shabby post.

Feel free to keep repeating it, or post anything else shabby you fancy, I couldn't give a ****. You can post anything you like, I can respond with anything I like, that's how forums work.

I won't respond to the forces bit, sick of hearing about it to be honest.

No surprises you're involved in yet another tedious spat, but if you're going to make reference to me in your whine you need to be far, far better informed. The person I guess you're trying to refer to has never complained to me about any of the cobblers you (or anyone else) has posted about him.

I used to have a pet house brick, he was called "Arthur" partly because he wasn't all there.

Our unit commander in NI took his pet dog with him and when we asked if we could adopt a stray dog, he said no, so my section all went out and bought collars and leads for some of the house bricks that had been chucked at us by the kind folk on the Falls Road one night. Sadly we were told to put them all back where we had got them from and so we reluctantly threw them to some lads who where larking about at the end of a street.

I do miss "Arthur" he was a friend who gave without taking!

I am indeed not bothered, HT. Some of my own friends take the piss when I am off it. As I take the piss out of them over various things. I think people are becoming a bit too delicate and easily offended nowadays.
There is a poster on here (who will confirm it if he reads this) who I used to trade insults with regularly and had disagreements on various topics but last year we were introduced to each other after a game by mutual acquaintances and ended up going on a pub crawl. We now bump into each other at games and always have a drink.
Trouble is now we have met, along with a few others, it has cut down the banter on the net as once you have seen somebody face to face and met the real person, not their internet persona, it puts a different slant on things.

BTW, HT, if you were in the forces you have my respect.

We couldn't afford to keep our brick, so I threw it in the river tied up in a sack weighted down with puppies.

Hull City AFC has six syllables. Sorry to rake over those coals, but it's a fact.

The abbreviation of World Wide Web, WWW, has more syllables than the words being abbreviated. Can't think of many,if any, other examples of that.

Cheers CC, genuinely, if I thought I was actually offending you, I would not do it. I sure as hell wouldn't wish anyone ill or dead even on a forum, so I'm glad you're at least taking it in the spirit it's meant, and not twisting it like a couple of others on here.

I'm sure if we met up, we'd have a drink and maybe take the piss a bit too. I'd even do the same with OLM in all honesty.

Even if we disagree on stuff, even if we enjoy winding each other up on occasion, we all support Hull City, which makes us special and unique. Wearing my still favourite Needlers Teletubby patch top some years ago I was asked in a pub if I was from Hull. After explaining that no, I was from Manchester but I wanted to support a big club, getting a laugh, and a drink bought for me, I still think we're that special. Sure, we'll gain new fans from outside the city now, and you know what, good, more the merrier, but back then, you sure as hell didn't support the Mighty Tigers if you weren't from Hull, and that my friend, is what makes us the same.

Now, can we get back to taking the piss?
