    Balance with 50 now.

Don't want to speak too soon, but could have now found a replacement for Trott in that number 3 slot.

    209-4

Balance & Bell going in space of a couple of overs.

70 ahead at the moment. Need to get to 150-200 ahead.

Yes we did but if I were Indian I'd be furious at the total lack of fight

Dhoni tried to fight with the bat but he hardly opened his gob behind the wicket to encourage... Only vented frustration negatively.... They imploded as a team and if I were in charge of India cricket I'd be holding a major inquest

Remember India had Cook, bell and a couple more under pressure for their jobs

By the end cook is looking a little more secure due to a hell of a lot of luck, root, ballance, moeen, buttler and even Jordan look a very good young outfit... It can't be that easy/good.

England take 1 good win and two very very easy wins. Anderson and broad look unplayable in favourable conditions and India get run outs, ridiculous flailing edges and not one bit of upper order resistance

I think after a year of criticising the team we can cut them some slack this series. Yes, there were a few issues, Indian's pretty much giving up and getting a bit of luck (had DRS been used Bell wouldn't have gone on to get big score in the game that turned it and Cook was dropped a few times) but let's just say we played some good cricket with lots of new young players.

There will be tougher challenges but this win will do the group a lot of confidence <ok>

Sure sure but good cricket and hard fought competitive cricket are two different things

A part timer took what 19 wickets in series? Anderson and broad were very good. Jordan was lucky to be let play himself in... That's great

But the development must be taken to the next level from here is all I'm saying. A South Africa or Australia level OR India at home is very very different to this muck India served up late on

I think ballance is a real find and root has come on a bit, buttler is a real bonus start and moeen has looked decent at times all in all England still need more form from the senior two and I hope we can emerge with a very good side

Moeen needs to score runs. Since his century against Sri Lanka he's been poor, but has made up for it this series with his wickets.

No doubting that would have been a tougher series against others but this was perfect for us as it's a good chance to build a bit of confidence for the new guys.

I think Balance has been superb since he's come in. If we can get Trott back to his best then would be perfect. Still think we need to find an opener though (could Trott do it)? Robson doesn't feel me with confidence. I'm not one to say give a guy 1 series then kick him out, but he struggled against this Indian attack, imagine what the Saffers would do to him <yikes>

Yeah he has not really got another good innings but the bowling figures are good

I'd say a run haul is required there yes

This bowling performance has been average from India so Robson is under pressure

I'll leave the analysis for now and just take the result. The Indians had their share of luck as well <ok>

Going even better now, 3 consecutive 4's off Anderson in this powerplay.

Jordan just bowled a 10 ball over with 4 wides, think that's 10 in the game for him.

bowling is just falling apart a bit at the moment.

We all know that ODI cricket is REAL cricket. That's until England turn the ODI series around and win the remaining games ... and then we'll all know that T20 is REAL cricket!
