No, maguire and Robertson were ineligible for the last round, it's up to Bruce if he wants to put them in. You submit a different squad for each round, I think.
I think the qualifying rounds each have a different squad list due to them being in the middle of the transfer window. Then you pick one for the group stages, and after the January window you pick one for the rest of the competition. Edit: I also think you're limited to just making a certain amount of changes to the original squad list after the January window, could be wrong, just rings a bell.
Macca played a lot of games out of position at right back I believe also which is maybe why he looked a little suspect at times.
