Looking forward to the match, being back at SJP.

As far as I'm concerned, it's a clean slate for the new season, and the new players need to be given time.

Think we'll lose 2-1 but, who knows, we might spring a surprise.

I just want to see us be competitive. Not lose 4-0 or 2-0 with us parking the bus. We can still draw positives from a loss against city as long as it's not bullshit. I'm watching the Liverpool game, tadic is some player, but if he gets hurt soton. Have no chance of staying up imo.

would love for us to win ..but cant really see it ...1st goal so important .. just think still no competent c half .. still going to have players that make bad mistakes . and good teams will find them out no probs ..

my view personly 2 c halfs were needed . decent ones taylor and colo to be pushed aside keep Williamson.

Everything that comes out of his mouth makes me hate him more and more.

We will get destroyed, and that bench looks ****. I can't really see anyone on it who'll make a difference. It seems unrealistic to expect too much of Aarons at this stage.

Also poor old Sissoko stuck on the wing he must wonder what he's done to deserve this .... How pardew get paid to manage is beyond me ... Also that midfield two does not spark the imagination

The thing is, we'll have the tiny Anita and Colback going up against two powerhouses in Toure and Fernando. Surely it would make more sense to try and match up Sissoko with Toure, because if they win the midfield battle - and I can't see how they won't - we've lost this game before it's even begun.

Pardew will blame the wind anything but stop to think he could chanfe his team selection formation or player positions.
