On behalf of every NOT606er please accept my apologies for starting such an embarrassing thread. I am happy to train with the reserves at Charlton Life and be loaned to Into The Valley where I can train and compete at a lower level to improve my conditioning and performances so that I will one day be back to being NOT606 quality.
Wouldn't drop you after 1 poor game Kish... a couple more bad thread though and we'll ship you on loan
A long way to go yet. Ignore Reams (Fantastic ****e). Posting figures are well down on his own niche site.
Fans who attend, yes. I also note the time of these posts, you must have been on your third bottle of Hooch by then. Remember Paul, you have an entire forum dedicated to your fickleness, so much of which is very embarrassing
Powell was a **** manager, then got us to ninth and then he was amazing. Before being back to rubbish. Sorry lad, but you just babble absolute s**t. Don't even get me started on the brown nosing of the trust before you turned on them after 1 Jaegermeister..
Paula you are funny, your becoming more like Jonathan Ackworth than he is. May I say how funny I find your site, it has all the belly laughs that I used to find in early episodes of 'the office' and you clearly are David Brent, espousing your ignorance for all the world to see, without realising what a dick you are. A recent couple of classics threads on Itv started by you include your support for the release of the Rapist, Ched Evans, where you quote a totally irrelevant Act presumably cos it sounds connected, and don't realise that he lost his appeal and is being let anyway having completed his sentence!! And the classic one where you try and speak French by using google translator!, pure comedy gold.
i echo this. this thread was set up before a ball was kicked, to discuss what could happen, what may happen and to discuss concerns. if everyone was right with a comment 100% of the time then it would be a very boring forum (like yours). F*ck off back to your asylum you plastic (fan) - and before you offer an excuse as to why you didnt go, AGAIN, i offered a free ticket on here for anyone, including you, so you cant say you didnt have the money.
He's not a fan. Nick pulled him up on past comments about Cardiff. He just thought he had more chance of being a ''somebody'' at Charlton . Note: He failed.
When Reams comes onto this site he reminds me of the ugly bridesmaid trying to get a dance at the wedding. Despite his frantic brown nosing of Duchatelet over the last six months, he is always condemned to be an outsider for the simple reason that he is a know nothing, no history, no background, no track record, non attending non paying non contributing Jonny Cum Lately.
I was at the U18's yesterday, we drew 2-2 with Crewe,... they came out like a train in the first 10 minutes but we held out comfortably then we scored (I would like to tell you who scored but it was a bit difficult to tell) we then had 20 minutes of dominance 1-0 Crewe has a single attacking tactic of the ball between our CB's with their fast CF running through the gap, this was not a problem until we lost the ball in Crewe's final third and they launched a fast counter, they employed the same tactic of the ball between our defenders and with just our keeper to beat their CF suddenly cuts to the left as he enters the box... our CM chasing back tries to cut to the right in an attempt not to trip their player but he does.... not a deliberate foul but a foul it was.... penalty with our player off for an early bath 1-1 A few hard tackles and a booking for Hanlan and the boys settled down to football again... Archie Edwards had a good run into the box from the left and curled a shot into the corner (may have taken a deflection?) so it was 2-1 to Charlton at half time. Crewe were obviously given a talking to at half time and came out in the second half to pass the ball past our midfield, for 30 minutes our midfield/attackers worked like Trojans to cover the spare man and although Crewe had a number of chances Mitov in the Charlton goal had few saves to make because of the 100% commitment from his defenders in putting their bodies on the line... unfortunately after about 70 minutes Crewe's CF (Andre Brown) got the ball on the edge of our box (centre) but his shot was blocked by two Charlton defenders unfortunately the ball deflected into the path of another Crewe attacker who with only the Keeper to beat blasted the ball home 2-2. Surprisingly the Crewe players seemed to think that this was job done.. the final 20 minutes 10 man Charlton had the better of the play and a fine display by the Crewe keeper helped retain their point... one chance in particular where good work down the right and a centre to find an unmarked Charlton player just outside the 6 yard box who shot yards over the bar was just poor technique. With 11 players on the pitch I think we would have won with ease.... Crewe's No 5 was perhaps the worst U18 player I have ever seen at Sparrows Lane.
Thanks, AllHell. Sorry to see your report buried within an unrelated thread. Could we not have a permanently running thread just for u18 stuff? Or, if the mods do not think that is justified, one for u21 and u18 combined?
Cooey hi girls!! Fantastic post Sat in Greenwich which sums you lot up. Yes the thread was set up before a ball was kicked which makes you all look rather stupid!! If a ball had not been kicked how can you possibly judge anything, what was it based on?? Pathetic. No I didn't go yesterday you are correct but we can put that down to not being able to get to London from deepest North Wales because of engineering works on the West Coast Mainline. Will I see you all at Huddersfield? only an hour for me? Anyway I will leave you to your thriving forum it's far too busy for me, and I'll trot back to ITTV, the forum that Vol has threatened to close down but failed just like he is a failure in life in general.
It's assumptions, and many of us have started to eat words that we said we are worse.. bare in mind we are 3 games into a 48 game minimum season (49 now we're in the next round of League Cup). Lets see where we are at xmas, if come that we are still doing well I'm sure none of us will be sad about it and will admit we were wrong. Quite a few of us probs going to go Huddersfield, I'm defo considering it. And if you're going back to ITTV... goodbye, have fun. Just bare in mind, we never start a thread having a go at another forum as you did, don't need to lower ourselves, and we only mention you if you show up, so grow up
I think Reams is Jonathan Ackworth. Look at the similarity, 'both' post multiple times on the most banal subjects and they both overuse wiki thinking that it will mask their natural inherent stupidity. Reamer Ackworth will then delight in the one post that might be accurate, totally ignoring the 200 other posts which come out of his arse. They have never been seen in the same room. There is a slight faux harder edge to D Ream who puts a threat in every now and then when he knows he might get away with it and both don't go to games. Your not fooling me, reamer, your Ackworth. Edit. I have just received a text from a mate telling me that JA and D Reamer are in fact different people. One is a right saddo spending all his considerable spare time on Cafc forums, spouting complete incoherent nonsense . The other is JA who I understand lives in Greenwich.
how does it make anyone look stupid? the summer goings on could have gone positively or negatively. it's 50/50 either way. posting your own thread on what we've discussed just makes you look like a basement dwelling, keyboard warrior who flipped a coin and guessed right. how can you comment anyway? if you saw us at all last year you'd have probably have said the same as the rest of us - we had some quality, but not in every position, and then we lost most of it and replaced them with unknown quantities. no, i wont be at huddersfield. we cannot afford it, we're down to one season ticket in this household this year. but given we just had a kid and all the expenses that come with it, i count myself lucky i still have a seat. still, it'll be 21 more games a year than you go to.
You don't get it, do you Reams? You were and are absolutely certain this season will be a good one, without knowing anything about how the new signings would gel, or indeed whether they would be good enough. We have made a good start, yes, but we also did that in 08/09, winning 2 of our first 3, and look what happened then. I'm not saying that will happen this season, merely that it's a dangerous game to be so triumphant so soon. So you were the one judging things before we knew how they would turn out. A healthy debate like the one on this thread would never happen at ITTV.
He hasn't made a single football-related post on this forum. He comes across as a very strange individual, unable to post in the normal manner. The fact that we are interested in each other's opinions must unsettle him, since he comes across to me as someone who likes the control which he imagines he exerts online. I hope he accepts sooner rather than later that he has no place on this football forum.
