Early days, its clear you need signings. You looked toothless but as been mentioned you were missing a few and as also mentione would they have made a lot of difference?

The thing is you look at most of the top teams and they have 2 very good players for each position. Man Utd don't even have 1 very good player for each position.

So you can blame your loss on injuries, but to challenge you'll need huge investment to get cover for situations like yesterday.

Watching the game yesterday, was just like watching us under Moyes. Barely any penetration, and our opponents taking advantage of sloppy defending.

I know we had a blinding pre season, so I'm still hopeful yesterday was just one of those days. But after last seasons shambles, we really could have done with coming out of the blocks quickly this season, particularly when we have such favourable fixtures on paper.

As it happens we have just given all our rivals for a top 4 spot a 3 point head start

 

Teething problems on top of taking swansea far too lightly gave us a famous win....Man utd will be up there challenging for a top 4 place you can bet on it....
