I think we could possibly get some joy down the right if Johnson plays lb. Clyne loves getting forward and seems to have formed an early understanding with Tadic in pre season. I just hope we're not embarrased, I can see us taking a shock lead before losing 3/4-1. The thought of Sterling one on one with Yoshida really frightens me. Hope Lallana can play so we can set Victor on him as well as Lovren
Lallana is out injured so won't play and doubt Lambert will play (maybe come on for final 10 if we're ahead comfortably). Lovren will certainly start though. No doubting which ever side Johnson plays will be the weakest, but Sterling will normally play ahead of him and despite all his brilliance going forward, he also offers a lot of protection, something old Glen needs!
despite all the media criticism (since when has that ever meant anything) of Glen his defending when on the left is pretty ok.
