Now three points is three points, today the team that did so well at Sheffield was not quite the side today.
First half was very quiet, their keeper did not have to make one save, second half until the change came with pack coming on and that changed the game.

El abd did well when he came on.

What can one say about wilbs long may it continue.
I thought Ayling had a good game today, the best of the three games he has played.
Korey Smith had a excellent game as well.

It will only get better as they have game time.

A dream start for us 6 points, now for three against orient another favourite for promotion and that will be a excellent start.

Got a lot of time for Smith.
I like hard tackling midfield dynamos (probably because I grew up watching Gerry Gow)
Especially ones who can play with the ball, as is the case with Smith. He is going to become irreplaceable

I'd still like a new goalkeeper though, I don't like watching Fielding, he scares me

Spot on! every time the ball goes near Frankie in the air, I cringe.
I thought we were quite good at times today but the final ball wasn't good enough. As mentioned, that will get better given time.
Tuesday against the O's will be a good barometer of how far we've come.

Agree weak link ,how sc can say he is his number one.i am not confident when watching him, however their keeper looked a man monster and commanded his box well.

What is it with Fielding in taking so long to release the ball, and when he does it normally very poor.

Well what else is he suppose to say? Not going to do player or club any good if he comes out and says "Fielding's **** and we need someone in ASAP"

I was a bit disappointed with Freeman today. I thought he would be a match winner but he doesn't seem to have influenced either game as much as I expected. Still - only two games gone so hoping he will settle in and show the class I hope he has. Good to win when clearly we are still working on getting the new players to gel. COYR!

    Big game Tuesday?

They are all big games if we are to restore our league standing to the Championship.

I was looking forward to seeing Freeman play, but I don't think him and Cunningham have clicked yet. They seemed to attack down the left against us today. I was wondering what Freeman would be like with someone like Bryan alongside him. It's good to have options unlike previous seasons.

Spot on RR, he will not just roll an easy ball out but prefers to boot it long and in effect give away our possession, he got better 2nd half but i reckon he got a bollocking.!

Freeman is trying very hard (a little too hard) to justify his reputation, he WILL settle down.

Exactly what I was thinking. I don't think Greg played well at all today. Would like to see Bryan given a chance in that position and was wondering if SC would make that change today.

I thought Little was trying too hard as well, he's good at going past but his final ball was like a player thinking too much about rather than use his instinct.

I'm happy with our new recruits and the one that RP said was a waste of money and won't be here long <laugh>

I've noticed last season, the team taking ages (bar Baldock) to get up the field when the keeper had the ball.

First game for me live non Tuesday <cheers>

Well we must be favourites to get 3 points at Rochdale next week, so if we can beat Orient then it will have been a superb start.

He is obviously taking a while to settle in. And of course his role in the team is entirely different to that at Stevenage. There he was the fulcrum, the star creator, dictating to the rest where to go etc.
But now he has much better around him so he is adjusting. Has a good touch, works hard and we know he can run rings around defenders. He will come good.

Being favourites means nothing though mate. As we found out at Bramall lane last week and Apart from when we play Sheffield and maybe Preston we will be clear favourites to win every game this season. 3 points against Orient and I'll start to believe that this could be a good season. I do think it's a must win on Tuesday night though. Simply because if we do go to Rochdale with 9 points another win will most probably see us go points clear rather than just because our name starts with B! It's all very exciting that's for sure!

I don't know what you're all on about.
Freeman looks a classy player to me, and will prove to be one of the division's top playmakers. I like the way he is lively and buzzing, and mixes in with the excellent Smith. Its something our midfield has lacked since 2008.
And when he is not quite having a beanfest at least he doesn't disappear like some players I could mention with the initial J.E.T

Still, I guess there always has to be a fall guy somewhere, even if he is one of our best assets

we are favourites but that means Jack schittt if like other teams they get first strike..we may not over come...................

a draw is the worst scenario and be fair we can expect at least 5 of them at home!?

I don't think anyone is using him as a fall guy, we are all aware of what sort of player he is. When I saw him last season I thought he's going to be good. It's just yesterday he had the burden of a home debut which made him want to try too hard. He showed glimpses of what we all know he's like and in three or four games we will all singing his name in praises. Once that midfield clicks it's going to be fantastic to watch.
