Just had a quick look on the Binner's board and it's as empty as the Portaloo on matchday ! please log in to view this image
To be honest, I don't see NA as being much different from PL. PL came to Norwich as an almost unknown quantity, and look what happened. Is it really fair to say that NA will not do as well, or even nearly as well at this stage?
Can't help but wish it had been 3-0 against 11 men but very nice indeed. Great that grabban is off the mark. NA needed that after this week. Hell, we all did. There were a lot of fence sitters beginning to fidget with intent.
Yes, the context, as you put it is very different, but that is nothing to do with the two individual personalities. They both want attacking football, so lets give NA a real chance to show what he can get out of the team
I am pleased to say that I have always been on NA's side, have always been happy to see him being given the chance. Just hope he doesn't let me down. It's been a very mixed start for him, but I am chuffed to bits he has got his first win, and a convincing one at that, albeit against 10 men
I think we will win most of our home games this season but if we are going to push for promotion we need to pick up a lot of points on the road and where better to start than Binwich on the 23rd..
I've more chance of finding rocking horse **** than getting a ticket for next week ! I am however going corporate for the return fixture on 28th February which co-incidently is my birthday. I'm taking two customers who believe it or not are Town fans ! Now my birthday is either going to be one of the 'best' or the 'worst' ever
I felt proud to be a fran today. I don't think there was a 'weakest link' and everyone played their part and there was some delightful play to watch. Could easily have been a few more in the 'goals for' column as well. L ooking at the BBC stats, it claims 30 shots on goal with 10 'on target' (10 of those 20 that missed were probably down to Redmond). More of the same for the next 2 games please!!
Indeed it can, but a sending off in the first 3 minutes can't be legislated for and upsets any strategy/tactics that a manager may have, a team can't really go defensive with 10 men and hope to survive for that long, given the extra space needing to be covered for 87 minutes... I'd have thought that you knew that dave.
Like KIO, I'm going to just enjoy it. Yes, the sending off was fortunate, just as Olsson's sending off was unfortunate. We'll never know what would have happened if they hadn't happened, but that's football.
Struggling to find Bradders goal online, but here's Grabban's: https://vine.co/v/M3mLbDAhpEH ...and here's Tettey's: https://vine.co/v/M3mLFE7KXzE
