I guess overall, pretty ok with that anyway.

Solid away point, few plus, few minus, we looked alright I think.

Seb, well, could be the man.

Okay, happy with a point, positives to be taken from the game.
We seem to have a decent left back, got forward well, lapse in concentration for their goal though.
Liked Gomez when he came on. Showed great spirit to get back in the game. Rodwell isn't full fit yet but looks good on the ball very tidy, and nothing went passed him, he will improve. I thought Seb played well. Buckley looked canny when he came on.
Catts' was my man of the match.

My gripe, Wickham playing wide to accommodate a hapless Fletcher up front. In summary with potentially three players coming in we could be very good. A couple of defensive injuries though.......

Buckley to start on the wing next match. He looked good, looked like he wanted to get stuck in and have a crack. He tried a deft backheel on the turn not long after he'd come on, and if it had beaten his man, he would have been away for a 1v1 with the keeper.

You are watching a different game to me lol! I thought Fletcher was awful and we were pinned in the first half due to his inability to hold up the ball. He was SHOCKING! Better in the second half. Wickham is a much better player and wasted out wide. Strange how differently we all see the same thing? ha I suppose it's all about opinions.

It's not positional my concerns with Wickham, and I straight out say I'm not slating him here.

I just don't know that he has any great touch, guile or movement, I;m staying on the fence, and sticking with the stance I've had all summer, he still has a lot to prove.

Happy with an away point, always precious. What have I learnt? Fletcher is to lazy to play in this Sunderland team. Wickham can't play inside left or right wing. Arnie had the best and worst début, showing exactly what the knowledgeable folk said about him being decent going forward but dodgy defensively.

Not happy with the performance but chuffed with the point.

Queue Hull fans bragging about being higher in the table :emoticon-0136-giggl

I wasn't basing it on this game mate, I prefer Fletcher on all I have seen over time, I don't see what many see in Wickham, I certainly don't see a player worth 40k a week.

Fletcher was poor today, but I would stake my life on him scoring more in his career than Connor.

Let's leave this debate for now, and be happy with an unbeaten start <ok>

Fletcher is shocking and Wickham is wasted on the left. Simple solution is to drop Fletcher and play Wickham as the main striker. He deserves his shot at it!

Uninspiring team display. We ran round like headless chickens chasing west brom for huge swathes of the match.we need an attacking midfielder ASAP. We should have started with Jozy instead of fletcher. I hope hull still want him.

I agree, a ball holding and playing CM would pull the whole team into shape, I think that should be the focus.

Ironically we were having our best spell when they scored their second. Was confident we'd still get an equaliser. Don't think we played well until about 55mins then we were much stronger.

Catts and Wes were great as expected and special mentions for JOS and Seb who were unexpectedly great!

Liked Gomez and good flashes from an unfit looking Rodwell.
