You say that but Silvestri did not have to make a save. Their goal, boot was too high, and was dangerous. If they had been at home still 50 / 50 if goal allowed
Unrecognisable compared to last season. Enjoyed every minute of that. Maximum effort from all quarters and lots of class. Delighted for everyone, fans, Cellino and the Hock. He took a lot of stick but that was a damn well organised team and substitutions at the right times. Off to a mates 40th tonight and am gonna get hammered
I think their goal could just as easily have stood as not, but that has to go down as a good result for us! Well done to Glory, Boggers, Josh, Hemase, and Whitejock on correctly going for Leeds to win by a goal in the poll
Always nice to get off the mark on your debut, though we'll need him to score 20 this season. Welcome to the Leeds forum pal
I also said somewhere that it was set up for Sharp to get the winner. A decent performance all round. One problem we will have is that Pearce and Cooper are both predominantly left footed. So I hope Bilusci is predominantly right footed, otherwise the centre of the back four is a bit unbalanced. So much better than the 'Wall match. Think Sharp would benefit from being partnered with Smith. Other than that, let the beers role.
Just finished watching it on sky plus, after 15 minutes and the disallowed goal I couldn't help but feel we were in for a thrashing, I almost fast forwarded it to the end but I am glad I never. Austin was terrible, I didn't think Byram had a very good game either but in all an excellent win and a team that will surely get better the more they play together Does anyone know why the kid from Milan was missing from the bench and surely Smith's days are now numbered, from starting to behind Poleon in the pecking order.
Thought we were a bit lucky to get the win, but were well organised today and worked hard. Lacking a bit of quality but how much is player ability and how much is lack of familiarity only time will tell. A win is priceless though, it gets us on the board and will be great for confidence.
Great result to today, class for Sharp to get off to a scoring start. Think he'll get us 20-30 this season. Team looked good although not quite finished article. Think we will get better and don't think we will be relegation fodder. Marching on together up the table. Get on we are Leeds. And Scum getting beat as well what a day.
Austin is the clear weak link. I would imagine his passing percentage today didn't surpass 50, he was that bad! All in all very positive and with more quality additions we might achieve something this season.
What are you talking about Ristac? Austin broke up plenty of attacks and worked his socks off. Byram had a decent enough game linking up with the attack, as well as tackling back more often than not.
Wow was I the only one who thought so or you didn't bother reading the comments before mine? Maybe you were watching the wrong player mate?
I think Warnock would have been my man of the match if it hadn't been for Billy, the disallowed goal certainly woke a few of them up
