I'm going to the 1st day at Trent Bridge - looking forward to it Will be interesting to see if many changes - Stokes for Jordan?
Like they did last time they toured England, the Indians have just rolled over and given up. Maybe they just don't care about test cricket any more.
Agree 100% India have no fight for Test match cricket, especially away from Home. Even there own ex players are embarrassed by the performances. Ganguly,Shastri etc are at a loss to explain it. I would rather play Sri Lanka in a 5 test series and India in a 2 series. The IPL is at the root of this problem for India.
If they don't want to play test cricket, step aside let someone who does have your place. I'm sure there are plenty out there.
England one-day squad: Alastair Cook (Essex, capt), Moeen Ali (Worcestershire), James Anderson (Lancashire), Gary Ballance (Yorkshire), Ian Bell (Warwickshire), Jos Buttler (Lancashire, wk), Steven Finn (Middlesex), Harry Gurney (Nottinghamshire), Alex Hales (Nottinghamshire), Chris Jordan (Sussex), Eoin Morgan (Middlesex), Joe Root (Yorkshire), Ben Stokes (Durham), James Tredwell (Kent), Chris Woakes (Warwickshire).
Ravi Bopara not included, Cook wants to pick another bowler. Disagree with that decision, Bopara merits inclusion on his batting alone, Cook should drop an out of form batsman: himself. If the weather in Bristol's anything like Hertfordshire, we won't be seeing much play today.
