He's been very hit and miss to put it kindly recently though.

 

I think he's a good striker and fit, if you ignore his behavior. Its a gamble, but on loan it could be worth the risk.

 

I agree. I'd be happy with Balloteli whether on loan or permanent. Rodgers is a very good man to man manager - I have faith in him to bring the very best out of Mario, if he were to sign.

 

I'd rather not loan him, unless an agreement was already in place that we can sign him for something around £14m in the summer.

If he actually does well then his price will rocket again up towards £20-£25m and we'd be in a situation like Everton this year, havig to spend big money just to stand still.

This, had we got a midfielder, losing Hendo for 3 games might not made as much of an impact. I'd say we need someone. Tbh, I'd take Bony at £19m as he is better than Borini and Lambert. I can't see the benefit of hanging on to Borini, I'd rather give Yesil a run out.
