Another reason not to post daft incoherent ramblings on social media when you are in the spot light......you'll be leading someone up the wrong garden path.
Players want to play. Well players with good talent anyway. The keeping situation at club is all about how one views it. 1.Manager did right thing by doing what he did as it is his right 2.Manager maybe lacks some man management skills? Pissing off players who have done nothing wrong 3. A player has right to do what is best for their career 4.A player is under contract so should be bound to that wither it ruins their career or not 5.Social media now allows everyone to put their feelings across on situations My personal take is any player not rated by their gaffer should have the right to leave if they want but naturally a under contracted player the club will want what is best for the club out situation
if there was practical cover for forster there would likely be no arguments from anyone about allowing Boruc to leave. With a year left onthis contract, a reduced transfer fee would probably be simple to agree. Cork has a bigger right to be aggrieved. There is evidently no contractual agreement to be had there but he is staying and there is plenty of cover.
I'm just fed up of the default position to be to publicly whinge, rather than show some mettle and fight.
He has no right to be aggrieved that the club is doing what it considers to be right for the club, that's the point. He has no entitlement to play, neither does Boruc. So show that you should be the one playing, and if you can't, because you're not good enough, then you accept that position and move when possible. Don't whinge on social media channels.
it's forster's place to lose though. Forster may not be a big upgrade on Boruc (or any upgrade by the opinions of some) but perhaps even boruc thinks forster will do a good enough job to keep his place and so there is no opportunity to step in.
A team good in depth is necessary if you want to do well in the PL. I think it was Nigel (or possibly Poch) who said players are employed to train and be available...that's what they are paid to do. It's the manager who decides who plays, not the players. So Boruc has to be available and he will play if an injury occurs or if Forster's form drops off. Tough on players, but that is what football is about. Whinging on media is not the way to go...it undermines the team and should be dealt with. Luckily, Boruc is so obscure...a bit of 'seagulls following trawlers'...that no one is quite sure what he is on about.
So don't moan. Accept that this is the situation, and that all things being equal the other player is better. Try and prove otherwise, and if you can't step up, look to move. Don't whinge, or if you must, then do it internally.
Unless Cork is pulling his father's strings I think he's conducted himself pretty well tbh. All i've heard is his response to a fan that there was no contract for him to sign.
I'm not suggesting that he's conducted himself wrongly as it happens. I'm just suggesting that he and Boruc have no real place being aggrieved at the moves the club has made (in terms of incomings), and certainly not publicly.
I'm not excusing the public whinging, especially the cryptic stuff. I can see an international goalie whois already struggling to compete for his international spot being upset at potentially sitting on his arse for a year while the competitors cement their positions. I can also see that Cork is now reaching the time in his career where bench duty is undesirable and an already overloaded competition for places has been added to.
