Morgan accepts he will stay. Seems he's had a shift in attitude and Koeman has asked the fans to get behind him.

Great. Well done Morgan, seeing sense. We may well lose him next summer but I'm fine with that. We just could not afford to lose him now. I will certainly get behind him.

Schneiderlin had been desperate to follow former manager Mauricio Pochettino to Tottenham Hotspur and believed he had a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ with Southampton that he could leave if an offer of more than £10 million came in.

That has got to be journalistic guesswork. Either that or Cortese really had gone mad.

Possibly Morgan was promised a move if we didn't make the CL, for 10m. Maybe Poch thought the new board would honor it and hence the bullshit offer they made.

As said above if he gives 100% he'll get my support. If he bitches and whines again in January then I'll still be very unhappy with him. It's time for him to make it up to us on the pitch.

 

pretty sure the best we'll get is pragmatism from the players. Jay will be able to force a transfer by the end of the season anyway given the length of his contract.

at least pinnochio is unlikely to be a problem by then.

 

I almost hope he has cooled off a little as a player when he comes back, so he'll be a less attractive prospect just for a little while until he hits his stride again.

That's good news, but would prefer to hear something from Morgan or see him on the pitch before feeling better about this episode.

 

I am sure the guys going up to Liverpool will give him a rousing reception on Sunday. He is after all supposedly a senior at the club now and needs to show it.
Glad he has decided to knuckle down, rather like Puncheon did on his return, I hope he has a blinder this season.

Hmm, I'm expecting a few boos, but also some over-charged cheers. Morgan has upset the club a bit and some supoorters are going to let him know it before they whole heartedly cheer him on.
