cheers jb, i have windows 8 but havent really played around with it much, got a touch screen monitor that i want to incorporate a mother board in the back and a psu somehow, that's a later project though, got the girls pc to mod/build first lol. have a look at that when finished it, hope its a better one than the face recognition rubbish app with a webcam etc, or the finger print scanner lol. not really a fan of touch screen yet though (what windows 8 is designed for), so not sure if i will take to it or not, i know you can get it to look like win 7 etc as have done it, but still unsure if i like or not lol.

I got it on my new laptop but couldn't get used to it so I use the desktop [which I think is what you're referring to by saying it can look like Win 7]. All those little tiles look nice but I prefer the way the older windows versions worked and as you say 8 probably better for touch screen which I don't have.
Just realised the best bit "ok google" where you can use it from any screen on your phone only works with 4S or newer. I've only got 4, so it only works when I go to google and touch the mic and talk. In that aspect, it's not that great (apart from for using it for words you can't spell but can say!). With newer iphones though, you can say "ok google" from any screen on your phone and it will allow you to search things without touching the phone. Handy if you have your hands full.
What else happened while I was away? I heard a rumour that Suarez bit someone at the WC - say it aint so ........
