I'm inclined to agree that he might be worth a punt on loan provided he is not a rotten apple. Rio should know though and be in a position to advise.
Not for me , similar attitude to Morrison and Adel . They may have bags of talent but if the attitude is wrong then it becomes counter productive . By all accounts we have a good team spirit so why take the risk.
Does not fit into a 3-5-2 system, not a wingback and not an out and out striker, so absolutely no need to be part of our squad. Phillips is a better player and unfortunately he will be warming the bench along with Hoilett once De Guzman and/or Kranjar arrive to put on the no.10 shirt. Feel sorry for Phillips as he has not had the opportunity to show what he can do and, unless Hoddle can work his magic in turning him into a wingback, will get limited opportunities
I like Niko as a player but doubt he is fit enough to be a no1 no 10 in the physically tough PL. Ok as back up to Adel or another brilliant No 10 only. Gusman, don't know much about him, but doubt he is good enough and it seems he is not coming to us. The Adel critics on here forget how little in fact Adel is injured - his fitness has not been an issue once he has got in reasonable shape.
???? What ? You dont know much about him, but doubt he is any good ? Been at Swansea for the last 2 seasons (scoring 15 goals from midfield) and played for Netherlands in the WC.
