Everton also have European football to contend with but still have a relatively small squad. They may get lucky with injuries but the extra football will certainly take it's toll this season.
Yes you can... Just like I can make up: "United Fans think Messi will take private football lessons from Fellani this season".
Well his goal tally has been slipping off pretty badly and he didn't win a proper trophy last season. He only scored 41 times, down from 60 in the previous campaign and 73 in the one before that. Bloody useless.
Suarez has had his ban upheld, barring the part about training with his team. Pretty surprised by that, as I thought that Barca's clout would get it reduced. I guess the CAS don't give a crap about that. In true Suarez fashion, it doesn't end there, though. His lawyers are trying to claim that this means that he can actually play, really, if you think about it. Want to make a situation even grimier than it already was? Just add lawyers.
Your spot on with that PleaseNotPoll, the first lesson in life, avoid lawyers at all costs. All of em are licensed crooks. If you look barrister up in the dictionary, you'll find it between bankrupt and bastard.
The training ban was always a little ridiculous. If 4 months playing ban is not enough... make it longer... don't add training ban. That's just silly and unenforceable. I too expected barca to get Luis's time reduced. As long as we don't have to face him I'm not too worried.
Lawro has predicted that we'll slip up against the Spanners, but has chalked 'Pool up for a win. He cannot overcome his old prejudices and biases, can he!
Think it's sometime next week. Suarez will miss at least 4 group games though. If we get Barcelona in our group we won't have to face Suarez more than once.
Whether or not you get Barca in your group, the CL dream isn't going to last that long. The best you can hope for is that you get dumped out in the early stages, so that, at the very least, you'll have a Europa campaign to fight, rather than cling on to the latter stages to get utterly humiliated by the big boys (like Arsenal always do), and have nothing (except for the memories of utter humiliation).
HIAG I get the feeling that you touch yourself whilst writing posts like this. Stop fantasizing and live in the real world. We haven't been humiliated for years and years, we lose games sure, but we leave humiliation to the london clubs. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25994878 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25287554 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26703761 and that's not even a year ago
"We haven't been humiliated for years and years" Finishing below Spurs in the PL 4 seasons running is now accepted by the Mousers as the natural order of things. The 'one year blip' delusion appears to have gone.
Yes, I do. The pleasure is always quite delicious, and I always wriggle. Now that I've put that thought into your mind, it will forever haunt you.
Seriously, though, I really do think that you Mousers will have to deal with a massive dose of reality, this season. When it happens, please try not to be too harsh on Rodgers. Yes, he will probably have to go, but let him leave with some dignity - don't do a "Hodgson" and force him to "walk alone." Ultimately, the one to blame, is Goofy, because he gave you all false hope, and enabled 'Pool to flatter to deceive. When (inevitably) he left, 'Pool never was going to be able to replace him, and the natural order was always going to be established. The trouble is, though, that 'Pool is due several large spankings, both at home and abroad, and you Mousers are going to have to try to accept that that is all part of the Karmic cycle.
