Hopefully it means we are getting someone in - although I just hope its not the standard of Tom Carroll who was 10 last year!
Agreed mate, and its a double edged sword for me I have regularly said that when MH gave Adel the No10 shirt, i thought "This is it- we have a new man"...BUT Dont know whats gone on but we do need a player of that ilk who will give us something every game (as did Stan B) as oppossed to every now and again FFS, if players like Stewart Downig can make it in the prem..WTF is wrong with Adel....?? So f**king frustrated !
Tarrabt still got a number which is interesting to see, though QPR's no 27 hardly brings much to the imagination!
Am I right in saying that the under 22 year olds don't need to occupy one of the 25 man squad number?
Anyone who is under 21 on or before 31st August does not count. So all of our current 23 'first team players' are over the age of 21 so do count.
This also suggests Traore is now being considered a midfielder rather than defender, which is good news because he certainly isn't a defender!
Sad day for me personally to see him at 27 hope he gets number 10 at Milan Still the best number 10 on the pitch we have had ... not concerned what went on off it
Absolute rubbish for a player from the NPC in my opinion...BUT...that is my opinion and you are entitled to yours DT
If Adel and Cesar go that leaves a squad of 21.... 4 more players in at this stage seems a lot (although i assume one will have to be goal keeper?) transfer deadline day and HR giving his inevitable car window interview here we come!
Well Fernandes the other day said 2/3 are coming in (1 permanent, 2 loans), but Harry said 4. We are linked with 4 players though: - De Guzman - Fer - Kranjcar - Sigthorsson Cant see us signing all three of De Guzman, Fer and Kranjcar though.
Totally wrong IMO. Never a midfielder, he hasn't the close ball control needed for one. He's a left sided defender, finish. The No 3 shirt is spot on if they mean what they did 62 years ago.
If Cesar see this list, it will probably reduce him to tears again. Fancy having a retired player further up the list than himself, wow!
If Nico is to return, I hope he is a backup No10, we need someone of higher calibre (not to mention younger) to grow with the club.
