A few years back, I went to a day at a test against Sri Lanka. I was meeting my old business partner there. I was pissed as usual and went to the posh refreshments area as good tickets were cheap for the match. Mike Gatting was doing PR for N Power. I went over to talk to him. Really, really nice guy. Chatting to him, it came out that he's a Liverpool supporter. I asked him for an autograph and he said he'd sign my ticket - if I had one Walking away, I turned back to him. He looked up and I said "Where did it hit you again, Mike?". His smiling response was "**** off". True story
