The truth is that no matter what system there is, some will be disappointed. I learnt a lot from my Arsenal supporting mates, about away ticket buying.

Loyalty is everything and putting those who purchased Trenich away tickets first leads on to a points scheme. I doubt that there was anyone who bought a Trenich ticket who hasn't bought a Lokeren away.

i got my tickets yesterday at about 4pm and there was only two chaps in the queue then, must have grown loads after people finished work.

ballot is a fair way, but in this day and age surely we have a crm system to cope, funniest thing is the club should know everyone who has had a season pass since bp days, but they have changed the system so many times, they couldn't even tell you who had a pass since the kc opened (21st century - the age of computers)

its really about time they got it sorted to provide a system that shows lasting loyalty, that takes into account factors such as peopling working away, having children or not working during a particular time. lately so many incidents of pass holders for x years missing out for a jcl. would sort out so many issues

That is more than the crowd for both the London Broncos v FC and Rovers games, which was funny as we are always told about the massive armies of travelling fans for both clubs.
Don't expect to hear or read much about it in the local media

A great day for the club and you turn it into a dick measuring contest with a supposedly inferior sport.

    How very unlike you!

Well if it is inferior it makes the constant sniping and comparisons, embarrassing and small time.

So I can only assume the poster see's it as genuine competition to football in which case their well wide of the mark.

Anyway no need to bring RL into it, let's just enjoy the fact Hull City have sold out an away allocation in Europe <ok>

Just like rugby fans and the rugby promoters in the local media try to compare themselves with a superior sport.
Like the idiot, with a Rovers connection, who has taken over from Fewings, reckoning rugby fans are more passionate than football ones. Compare the way this game gas sold out in 24 hours with how few go to away games with the rugby teams who consider anything further than Leeds as a major expedition.

I don't see it as genuine competition. Unfortunately the rugbycentric types in the local media try and make out it is.
Their biggest fear, City being in the top flight, has come true. For the first time ever in 2008 we saw City compete on a level playing field, the top flight, and of course they got more than the two rugby sides added together.
The Rovers manager compared the Derby to Rangers v Celtic. Talk about deluded.

Let them and don't rise to it, they really don't have a leg to stand on, just laugh and move on.

And to be fair to them Catalans is quite a trip for a regular league game.

Just leave them to it, I don't see how someone not interested in it can be so bothered about it.

Comparing the two sports and their support is utterly pointless, until RL has the worldwide exposure that football does or football becomes as regionalised as RL is then its like comparing apples and oranges.

Glad to hear it. I suppose now you will have to try and sort out the journey and accommodation.

    Ghent looks a safe bet.

If you use wiziwig, download the free ACE STREAM software on there site, the quality is miles better than the Flash links you see on there
