Ask every team in the division with half a chance, Ipswich, Forest, Derby, Fulham, Wolves, Cardiff, Derby if they believe they can win promotion and they will say yes.... Take your Leeds hat off for one minute and tell me why we have a great squad? I totally agree it is looking good on paper but I am basing it on what? Not performances so far as we have watched one defeat against a team in our division. It is far too early at the moment to predict how good they are going to actually be, I remember everyone saying how great Murphy was going to be and that this will be the season for him to shine, we shall see. My feet are firmly on the ground and I hope these players we are signing turn out to be as good as many are hoping for, I think they will but time will tell.
Absolutely. It's about time teams started standing up to stupid wage demands. If we do, and that means we miss out on a couple then I'm not bothered in the grand scheme of things. We've had (and still have) too many overpaid players on our books recently.
You never know, he might come back tail between his legs in a week or so. We shouldn't wait around though.
I would love to know what amount it is when they say "Wants more money" you never know if they are being plain greedy or if we are offering too little. Agard would have offered us something different, a shame but with Sharp and the two CB's there is no urgency now to bring anyone else in.

Bit harsh Bucks ? Sharp was on Prem wages, took a pay cut AFTER we'd paid him a year's worth of his Prem salary so he's effectively not taken a pay cut at all. Agard is probably on peanuts, although it's disappointing he pushed Cellino too far it was probably down to a greedy agent.
Cellino is on a learning curve with English football, maybe he takes it too personal when an agent comes in asking for too much?
Exactly, Agard would of got a pay rise here and other incentives, plus he would of been at the biggest club outside the Prem. What makes him think he is worth more a week than what Sharp Bianchi & Bellusci are on?
Not wanting to frame that last comment as a negative, we shouldn't overpay for a player - squad needs balance in that regard

I am just using those 3 players as an example to who he thinks he is better than (I dont) as he wants more than what they are obviously on.
Fee was agreed with the Millers, he came here with his agent to agree personal terms. 99% chance its wages, obviously this is just my opinion.
On another transfer related note: Blackpool have agreed a deal with Ranger apparently. We can now breath a collective sigh of relief
I agree he's asked for more wages than we were willing to offer. What I meant was how do you know he wants more than the other three you quoted ? Anyway, we move on, other irons in the fire. Had a word with a Chelsea mate, he reckons the Bamford to Boro deal hasn't completed yet, let's see if we can nick him.
