    Hi again.

I felt we were missing a bit of a build up thread to the biggest fixture in August (and the season).

To expand on this I thought that this thread could be used for some news and predictions or however else it may end up. I have kicked off the below with my on little prediction and would like to see team sheet.

    Plymouth 2 - 1 Exeter (feeling positive)

    GK Super Luke

    RB Mellor
    CB Admiral Nelson
    CB Hartley
    LB McHugh

    RM Marvellous Marvin
    CM Cox
CM Norburn (I'd love to see River start though)
    LM Banton

    FW Rubes
    FW Lewi

Move Morgan to the wing where I think he is most effective. He Lewi and Banton to swap around to keep the defence guessing.

2 Goals from Reid send the Grecians packing

Have to say that all looks a bit on the attacking side which is something our Mr Sheridan usually isn't. Having said that, he was more or less forced to do something on Tuesday and all of the above were on the field. I think he should go for it and to hell with the consequences. The game last season is all too fresh still and in that one we went out with a whimper anyway. If we at the very least have a go and lose then I can forgive that. To lose and not even be in it is the unforgivable bit.

It is the first game for me this season so am looking forward to it. I hope I will be as happy after the match. By the way I have a monopoly on the 2 - 1 scoreline. I have taken out all of the necessary patents on it and I will sue anyone who attempts to steal it. I'm already taking action against Joe although he doesn't know it yet.

Haha ok well I'll go with a 3-1 scoreline to save any legal recourse. (Money is not as free as it used to be)

I would hope, based on how much of a difference it made when Morgan Harvey and Allen came on that we go for the attack. When we did this last night, we outperformed Orient who looked shattered.

Another first half display like last night on Saturday and we could be up a certain creek without a paddle.

    Still optimistic though. COYG. :emoticon-0105-wink:

LOVED Reid's goals against Orient. Quick to react to lift the rebounding ball over the keeper for the first and practically flattened the defender for the second. I have a feeling it'll be more than 20 this season, provided he doesn't get lured away at Christmas.

Not so keen on two goals conceded from crosses. That's bread & butter stuff and needs improvement.

Exeter are in a mess financially and in the board room with a limited squad: 2-1 to Argyle.

    IT'S MY BLEDDY SCORELINE......

Corners have been a blight for the last 5 seasons with us for some reason. Everytime the opposition get one at HP I almost have to look away cause I'm never comfortable. Bit more relaxed with Luke M but with Cole it was almost a gimme. All I'm looking for tomorrow is effort this time. Last season was embarrassing.

Well corners didn't turn out to be that much of a problem HP and it was a great result. Had a few beers after the game and it was great after last years result against these. Have a look at lyndhurst's report on the other thread which is prety accurate to be fair. You would have loved it.
