Balls, I started a new thread a wrote the whole thing out (not as nicely as this one either). Although I have a bit more info from after the end of these questions, but like I said, I have been as elaborate as this post.
I got to be honest, reading the first section I thought you were making it up! It was only the second part made me realise you were reporting. (Great job on your part.) That version makes the Hollywood version of the USA single handedly winning world war 2 seem like a Dan Snow documentary!
Thanks for posting. Relived to see that Monk said that the Villarreal tactics etc were a one off so that key players got some much needed minutes on the pitch Also interesting about tika tala in that he shares ML views that instead of sideways and backwards, we have to pass the ball forwards to score
I can't take any credit boys....just copied and pasted from Scott Swan's site. Just bringing it to your attention. Would be interested to hear Shaper's and anyone else who was present's take on things
Thanks for that. My post is not as comprehensive because it's cobbled together from my tweets and a slightly alcohol infused memory, but all in all, it's what I heard. I particularly liked HJ tone on the expansion. Only if we have the money spare to do it, Monk seemed relaxed and was gracious enough to admit the Villareal formation as a mistake, not swerve it completely and blame something else. I'm not sure why Dyer and Routledge weren't available, but if they weren't, they weren't. It's reassuring to hear the tone of the club being one of brevity and forward thinking.
Good job, thanks. Dyer' missus just had a baby & Routledge injured. I'm sure the club will want to be brief and forward looking as the recent past must be something they want us to forget about as completely and quickly as possible.
Perhaps now some of the miserable negative gits on here will shut up, and stop slagging off Monk and Jenkins, you know who you are!............
