He bloody well has seen how crap his second string were tonight, pathetic showing for so called players looking to break into the first team.
Oxford were the better team.. http://www.bristolpost.co.uk/Bristo...dmits-Oxford/story-22704887-detail/story.html
I'll not pay over the odds says the gaffer... http://www.bristolpost.co.uk/ll-pay...y-boss-Steve/story-22715397-detail/story.html
No money for goalkeeper... http://www.bristolpost.co.uk/Bristo...l-prioritise/story-22736220-detail/story.html
Do I take it that we have no money for a striker either? That being the case, anyone else coming in would be loans unless we sell of course.
I read it as money for a striker but none after that for a goalkeeper, I suppose it's easier to get a goalkeeper on loan rather than a decent forward.
Have to say I've been mostly impressed with his transfers and decisions close season. Only 'mostly' because I think we definitely need a keeper also I'd also like a Leader at the back. Can't have everything I suppose. The signings so far of Wilbraham, Little, Smith and Freeman look great deals. He didn't keep the useless Gillett and has benched the worse than useless Wagstaff. And best - he's managed to keep Baldock. So far so good.
Team must be positive... http://www.westerndailypress.co.uk/...ss-Cotterill/story-22754709-detail/story.html

Bristol City FC @bcfctweets · 19h SC: "The goal straight after half-time has really helped and we pushed on from there." Bristol City FC @bcfctweets · 19h SC: "We're not quite at speed yet. That'll take half a dozen games." Bristol City FC @bcfctweets · 19h SC: "We didn't quite get going in the first half. We were better in the second period." Bristol City FC @bcfctweets · 19h SC: "We made it tough for ourselves by conceding but we stuck at it."
Never were truer words spoken. We need to win tomorrow and again on Saturday, especially with Peterborough playing Sheff Utd tomorrow night. We're more than capable of winning both games, and looking further ahead, we are also more than capable of winning at Notts County and at home to Scunthorpe. Can you imagine the pressure that would be on the likes of Sheff Utd were we to get 15 points from the first 5 ? After Peterborough they have a tough home game with Crawley who are proving no pushovers and who are yet to concede a goal
