The future of Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis is unclear just two days before the club's opening game of the Premier League season against Arsenal. Pulis is currently holding crisis talks with Palace owner Steve Parish. The friction relates to who is responsible for which areas of the club amid simmering tension between the pair which has heightened in recent weeks. Former Stoke City manager Pulis, 56, has been frustrated by the failure to land a number of his targets. Bookmakers' odds tumbled on Thursday morning as speculation over the Welshman's job intensified.
Unbelievable! They'll do well to find a manager half as effective! Trouble for Palace..time for a cheeky bid for Jedinek?? Can see Neil going back..unfinished business for him.
It has to be said that Steve Parish is a w@nker. (Can I also say that this thread shouldn't really be labelled OT. )
Hoddle has said he can only work part time with us so can't see how he can become manger , then again didn't take long for McClaren too Long to jump ship so wouldn't be surprised
Unbelievable. Their Board clearly think they could cope the second year in the Prem without him. Oh well. That's one team that seems earmarked now for relegation. He was without a shadow of a doubt last season's manager of the year. Pellegrini, Rogers, the special one, Wenger and of course Moyes would not have achieved what he did without the huge transfer budgets available to them.
According to BBC the coaching team have been asked to stay on until they have played Arsenal and then they can go.
Times like these do make me think more of our chairman & board than I usually emphasise. I'm sure I read in Harry's book that Tony once chinned a player. Is it possible that's put a couple off?
