    I suspect it is.
We all know what we need but I think that doors are slamming shut so quickly we'll end up with nowt.

Our blind leader doesn't seem to realize we need a class CB so I suspect that is it until January ( if we are lucky )

Yeah were done imo, the whole purple player thing is very much real I'm even surprised we signed ferreyra. Its a hopeful back to square one, although at least we look to have signed some potential quality

In fact its not even square one is it, replaced proved with unproven and some like de jong looking injury prone. Eh, its exciting enough at least

I do. Unless we can shift one of the chuckle brothers, a much needed centre back won't arrive.

I'm sure we are done now.
We don't seem to do the last minute.com deals anymore so unless we flog someone I expect that to be it.
CB is a real worry for me.

    Effectively done.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a deal completed in the last hours of the window for a utility defender who would be back up to MYM/Saylor but aside from that I don't expect any arrivals

Let's look at it pragmatically - none of our key buys have been overly surprising. We were after the headline acts, such as SDJ and Cabella, for over a year and it had been well reported, in spite of our ability to keep the full details under wraps. So have we been linked with anyone specifically? Yes - Micah Richards. He isn't going to stick around now Mangala has been signed, so if I was betting on an outsider it'd be Micah Richards coming in. Versatile, relatively cheap and will probably accept the lower wages to resurrect his career. We've not been properly linked with anyone else.

I assume we're sat twiddling our thumbs waiting for both Richards and Lacazette to commit, but outside of these two - and perhaps Benteke - we're not going to do any more random searching.

We really need a good striker, the sort that will guarantee us 15+ goals. Going into next season without one could prove costly.

Considering how much I used to get wound up watching him it's probably a good thing for my blood pressure, only time I ever got threatened by a steward with removal from the ground was watching Shola cock it up.

He would have supported Man U if Shearer had any sense. So its not all bad. Didn't he knock you out of a cup not too long ago? Hope he keeps it up.

Quite possibly, but the draw of our great club was too great for both. This is what happens when you are the biggest draw in the region.
