I take here to mean qpr rather than England. Apparently Chris Samba's family still live over here (although his reputed £100k pw put him out of our price range). I would only be happy with Van Der Vaart but only if we signed another top striker which isn't going to happen. It sound like I think we have actions above our stations because he was once a Real Madrid player. But his wage demands will be high and he will have no sell on value. Not to mention we need a pacey or/and explosive striker at a reasonable age and he is neither of them things.
Benoit Assou-Ekotto would deffo do a job in our defence, and has bags of european football experience
