..... that Elmo is going to Southampton <laugh>

Also, as I suggested earlier this week, Pulis is about to jump ship ........ he thinks he deserves better.

Plus Kris Commons is looking for a way out of Scotland (No jokes about the A74 & M6 please.)

Can't see them wanting Elmo, not unless they're completely switching style. Elmo is strong, fast and direct but lacks the technical skills imo.

They're desperate for players and anyone with credibility will be sitting back and watching before signing.

There's summat really wrong at that club and money is at the root of it.

It means nowt, I know, but Robbie Savage has them for the drop.

I don't know many people in football but I do know one of the directors at Villa.

I spoke to him earlier, we're organising a house move to France for him, and he's been making me howl with some of the stories.

Pulis fancies the job and Lambert is f**ed .......... work it out for yersel <ok>

W Hill now suddenly have Pulis as 6/4 fav as 1st mover, Allardyce @ 2/1, and Lambert @ 6/1. Up to now Sam was odds on.

    Well well, there`s a thing.

I reckon they have no option to give Monk a chance ......... the conundrum is that they'll give his replacement more money than him.

It just looks inevitable that he'll go.

    Just seen your edit.

Right, 2/- on Pulis it is. Might even go to 2/6d.

    hang on, 2/- @ 6/4 would equal 1 crown wouldn`t it?

    or 2/6d @ 6/4 = 3/9d + 2/6d = 6/3d

If Pulis goes, Palace are down.

I think the problem is that if he stays they could go down with that squad.

Pulis won't want a relegation on his CV ......... he'll never manage a top club so needs to protect his 'mid-table' persona.

They are certainly not safe! Their defence seems ok but they are sorely lacking elsewhere. They will probably stay up by the skin of their teeth though I suspect however you could well be right. Pulis might not want to take the chance in order to preserve his "reputation"

Mind you, he did take the job on in the first place when things were seemingly worse than they are now.

That was a 'Shearer style' rescue mission where no blame could be levelled at him ......... bit like Poyet here tbh.

I reckon he knows they'll struggle now that the novelty has worn off.
