I don't really focus my attentions on any one/group of things during the off season. As for me nothing comes close to filling the void that no football and more importantly no Charlton leaves... I've always been a colossal boxing fan, for me it's the purest sport of the lot. Two fellas pitting their wits and skills against one another with the better man more often than not coming out on top... can't beat it...!! Super & Greenwich... As boxing fans you've got to read 'The Big If'. I've read more boxing books that i care to remember but this one is head and shoulders above the rest. It made me smile and well up in equal measure (I've read it a couple of times now so I'm done with it. If either of you fancy reading it private message me your address and I'll pop it in the post to ya). The off season is an exciting time though ay boys? All the speculation and uncertainty of what the season ahead holds is truly magical Imo.
I just end up spending more time with my wife and son ... everyone's a winner please log in to view this image
Except when Don King is fixing fights, of course! But your last point about the off season- more than agree. Best time of the year in a bizarre way, love the excitement the summer transfer window brings.
