Just spoke to my friend who's a Reading fan. Says he'd be gutted to lose Morrison. Very good in the air but susceptible to a lack of concentration or a misplaced pass. At only 23 he reckons he going to a future Prem CB and a potential captain. Sounds alright if we get him.
Apparently he asked his old teammate Le Fondre what he thought of the club and he told him there's no problem down here. He said as long as you're prepared to play on the right wing, you'll be fine........
Pilks was recovering from injury when we bought him, and has been injured off and on ever since. I can't remember how many games he played last season. but it was only a few. On his day he's bloody brilliant, a game changer, but then he disappears in games doesn't get involved.
That's a bit steep for Morrison innit?...(if it's true) http://www.getreading.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/reading-fc-defender-sean-morrison-7617986
Looks like he passed the sheep shagging test - only the word game to go now...........good game, good game, nice to see you, to see you............... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28802083
Okay, need to see Morrison sign on the line soon. Perhaps a double new signing intro at the game tomorrow?
That worries me too. (there again, perhaps we don't really need another winger with power and pace....)
BBC Wales Sport ‏@BBCWalesSport BREAKING: @CardiffCityFC sign @FAIreland midfielder Anthony @Pilkington_11 from Norwich for £1m on a three-year deal
That'll do. Massive squad now - we need to ship some out (either sale or loan) and get a settled 18 man first team selection option at the most.
Who the heck is he going to pick when all are fit? Look at this potential first team: Marshall Fabio, Morrison, Connolly, Brayford Noone, Dikajcoi, Adeyemi, Pilkington, Macheda, Guerra That leaves the likes of Cala, Turner, Kim, Whittingham, Gunnarsson, Le Fondre, Maynard, Jones, John, Hudson, Daehli, T-Katherine, Eikrem etc all fighting for places. Blimey
