Another great reason not to let them have Corky on the cheap! Hope he walks....we need more crisis clubs!
Maybe we should've made him a part of the Shane Long deal. Jack's british and that's probably just enough for Bruce to hold him in high regard.
oh cool, I missed that post as well edit: actually it kind of implies we've given up on byram. i don't know if that's good.
On talksport saying Tony Pulis is having show with chairman as he not happy regarding transfer funds available this season and possible walk out?
Might still be on the cards regardless. Isn't their recruitment driven by the chap they took from Cardiff ? But then again if funds are the issue perhaps it will not happen
He'll take over from Poch (in a few months) and make the Tottenham poster 'Boss' cream his pants in joy.
Alex Goring Crook ‏@alex_crook 2m Wow RT @MailSport: BREAKING: Tony Pulis has left Crystal Palace by mutual consent
The way Tony Pullis turned that side around last season was pretty incredible. With the squad they've got and no manager this isnt going to be pretty for them. Like someone said above, more crisis clubs is a great thing for us. Hopefully ours is done and we are starting to settle. Personally, I'd hate Cork to leave, good to see the club saying he's wanted. Whilst he was no threat at the front last season he sure can boss the middle of the park and his tackling and passing are top class. If I wanted to hold onto a lead I'd be happy to put Cork on to break up the opposition and take control of the game.
Something tells me that Tony was well aware of that when he went into that meeting. If ever there was a time for him to demand more transfer funds. As for Cork, I'm keeping quiet for now. Going to see how things pan out first.
