I'd love to twat Parsnip right in the cake hole as he gets right on my tits but **** me blue, that twat Carver is an utter helmet. I'd happily play football with his head.
More ****e from 'Newcastle' in the Chronicle ......... "Michael Owen has tipped Newcastle United to have a steady season. The Sportlobster pundit said: “With no Europa League to contend with again this season, I can see Newcastle bouncing back from a disappointing last season. ........ Owen reckons United can repeat that 10th place this year." So we're being told by this very clever man that Newcastle can 'bounce back' from last season by finishing in the same position
Owen on Sunderland, But Owen was not so optimistic for Sunderland’s chances. In his Sportslobster predictions Owen said Sunderland will finish 17th. He said: “I could be way out as Gus Poyet is a manager I rate and once a wave of optimism hits the Stadium Of Light, they can be a tough team to beat. The board have backed their man with some big money, but it’s questionable whether their signings to date will prove great value for money.” So it's questionable that our signings will prove value for money but not Newcastle's ......... no bias there then To be fair to Owen, he's never come across as the brightest.
I love the way one of the biggest transfer flops in world football gives Sunderland a lecture on value for money
Nice one, absolutely spot on ... it's ironic that a very wealthy man with no current involvement in football should be paid for his guesswork. I wonder how much time he spends researching his predictions For such a 'world superstar' I don't think he won much either iirc.
To be honest Newcastle fans have a lot to thank him for. I he hadn't have been such an expensive flop for them they mightn't have needed to bring in Ashley to save them. They could still be 100's of millions in the black, losing money left, right and center and watching 2nd division football.
A fraction of the time he spends following Horse-racing form. Will you clear some of your inbox please fella?
He's thick as two short 'uns. His logic that we will concede a lot more goals because we have signed another 'quality keeper' in XtraLongPantimillion to compete for the No.1 jersey had me very puzzled. Dozy little donut that he is.
Yeah I noticed that. TBH, on last season's performances I'd put either ahead of Mignolet ......... the lad's great but he cost them quite a few points. I'm amazed we managed to hang onto Mannone so easily, that was a deal that slipped by but it's one of our best. There isn't one of our current squad who had a season half as good imo.
Heaven forfend we were still "100s of millions in the black" sanddancer. If you're going to just make up figures at least bend them towards the point you're trying to make. As for Owen, he was a twat before he came to us, a twat when he was at us and is almost certainly still a twat now. Not sure why you're blaming us for him. Most footballers come across as pretty thick, making headlines as a sports journalist must be the easiest job in the world.
75 million he bought the club for and then put in another 75 million steadying the ship. We're not blaming Owen for anything. I was merely pointing out that he is one of the reasons why you are signing Cabella and not in Blackpools Position. Wait lads i've got a bite.... please log in to view this image
