He's a Left Back isn't he? Is he competition for Shaw or can he play on the left of a back three? Seems a bit of a strange one.
United have sold 2 left back and brought in one so I guess its to have 2 senior players in that position. Also LVG normally plays about 8 defenders so the more the better

Maybe LVG considers he doesn't need anyone. Or maybe hes a tad too subtle to tell at this stage, and just wait until the deal(s) done
No idea which other countries rule against it but I know Portugal allow it, it's how Porto do things.
