OT what job do you do / did you do?

I'm a marketing manager for a company with strong sunderland connections.(not the actual club before you ask).

 

I worked in a ski resort for a season (probably most intense but incredible 6 months of my life) then dropped out of uni to join an accounting firm. Qualified as an accountant and now I'm a financial analyst.

 

University Administrator.....possibly the most boring job ever.

 

I am a Maths Teacher.
At university I did everything from selling timeshare/mobile phones to dead people to selling ice cream.
Main job prior to becoming a Maths teacher was designing bar code systems.

 

Manager of a construction company.

I've got probably one of the most mundane jobs on here...... I'm a stock controller at a bearings manufacturer and have been for the last 30 years. Haven't been for the last ten weeks since a had a heart attack, spend most of my days down the dene with my Springer Spaniel chasing pheasants. (He does, not me).

 

So sorry to hear of your health issue mate. I hope you are well on the road to recovery now. Let me know what games you are up for and I'll buy you a pint

music publishing & performance

i've run pubs and venues in the past, and on & off fix computers as a day job (contract) to help bring in the pennies, as music income is...unreliable

 

Wow hope it all goes well for you happened to a mate of mine in London, he plays cricket and golf is thin and has a much more healty life style than me yet got hit out of the blue big shock, be well and have many more years.

 

Aye, bit of a shock, had a stent put in so I'll be fine when my BP gets sorted. It's coming down now. Too many ***s and kebabs when I was a young'n probably. Packed them both in now. Came from nowhere though, I play golf and I've never had any bother before. Worst thing about it was, they took me to a hospital in sunderland.

 

Carry on upsetting the lads on our board, you'll be gannin back there.

I was an international IT consultant working with clients all over the world. However, I too had a heart attack myself in Jan (at the West Ham game) and had to give it up. Moved back to toon and am now starting again as a software developer in Gateshead.

Anyway, as this thread is about jobs, good to hear that you will be returning back to yours soon.

 

Seems quite official, doesn't it. Watching Newcastle should carry a government health warning.
