You have too much faith in the board. They are prone to making mistakes and yet you are willing to trust their judgement on this?!
If i remember Victor got crocked for the period when we played a lot of the bigger clubs, so the figures may not be as clear cut as above, BUT, whilst i do rate Cork as a good honest player, i think JWP and Reed are probably now above him in the pecking order, so if we can get some cash for him, then have no problem with him going. But lets try and screw an extra couple of million out the deal, like everyone seems to be doing to us at the moment.
I really don't have faith in them, trust me, I just think this would be such a stupid thing to do that they surely wouldn't.
This. 2 managers in a row now have put Wanyama ahead of Cork and (as far as we know) there are no other bidders for Cork so he's not too sought after. He is a good player, if we could keep him great, but from the outside it looks like he want's more game time than we can offer him.
Finger crossed this is all bull. If Morgan is really off then Corky should be looking to get much time game.
Another poster asked the question Koeman prefers JWP & Taider to Cork. He is our fifth choice deep central midfielder. You may disagree with that decision but that's what Koeman has gone for
And I as a fan watching Cork for 3 years disagree. Until Koeman has proven himself, I don't give a **** about his decisions quite frankly. Taider has never played in the Prem, and JWP is an attacking midfielder.
I think the point was that a deep lying midfielder's primary role isn't scoring goals. But yes, silly comparison.
Don't you think it should? Especially a manager with zero experience. If Koeman gets sacked this season, the lot of you will look ridiculous for all this blind faith you have in him.
Let's be honest Beefy, the kids aren't gonna keep us up. We need to be keeping some of the PL experience.
I agree with that, but Cork wouldn't play deep lying any more and his attacking contribution is far inferior to Davis and JWP. I do agree with this. I don't think Koeman is as good as most people do but he's being given a lot of trust and blind faith. Obviously it's too early to turn against him, but it's also too early to fully support and trust every decision too.
Cork does the same job as him albeit at a lower standard, Makelele scored maybe once or twice at Chelsea. Corks role isn't to score goals.
