he also went on to say that playing proper football and the win bonuses at Millwall, would more than compensate him
Nah ... my opinion has not changed ... listened to his Accrington post match interview ... Hunt came on because he had a knock to run off after Millwall (in essence proving his fitness for Boro) ... couple of other lads who came in was purely for the "Elland Road Experience" and not because they're starters ... says it's not rocket science to figure out his team for Boro, his nucleus remains unchanged ... as for the new signings, he will have a look in training but they will have to do something special to get the shirt ... WTF??? Hold on, I thought you brought in new players because they were BETTER than what you already had, thus improving your team ... or are we actually just signing rubbish to act as backup for Hock's "nucleus"? Expect to see Hunt starting again on Saturday, expect another defeat against a Boro side that will be so much better than anything we've faced so far ... this pig headed fcuk needs to get out of Leeds in a hurry, and the only way we will see positive changes against Boro is if Cellino gets involved and forces Hock to change his thinking ... stubborn fool!!!
Were actually assembling a very decent squad. The weak link would appear to be the hock. All will be obvious very soon and at least we know Cellino won't be slow to act
Eire spot on (yet again) ... Hock simply isn't a number one, he should go back to being a coach at Watford
Leaves me a bit confused for Saturday. On one hand I want to see Leeds win with a much improved performance with new guys shining. Only snag, that will prolong the Hocks career. If we lose, perish the thought, the axe could fall this weekend. Sort of Hobsons choice, damned if you do and damned if you dont
I really hope its us on here that are collectively missing a trick. We have Smith, Doukara, Poleon, and Ajose who I think we could all agree should appear somehwere, either starting or off the bench. Morison might still be injured. If Sharp signs and is available for Saturday, I think he might start on the bench until he's fully fit. But what I don't see is where Hunt fits in to the equation. Smith or Doukara would play through the centre. Poleon or Ajose would play out wideish. Where doe the Hock believe Hunt could fit in?
Hock it seems will play Hunt in goal once he's tried every outfield position before he admits he's wrong ... big mistake talking Hunt up in pre season, now he has to back the lad because he's a stubborn cnut
I'm not confused. A win every time! I don't care if Hock the Cock is still there if we're winning every game. Won't happen though!
Me too. The Hock's been in charge for 2 competative games so far. Talk on this and various sites about wanting the Hock gone is so premature, it's farcical. Get behind the team. Get behind the Manager, and let's judge both after at least 10 games. With all the players now available to him, it'll take a while for the Hock to work out his starting XI and for them to bed down as a unit. Leaving Hunt aside (please leve Hunt aside), we need the team to play together and work out a style of play that works. I hope we don't get any more players in this TW. It's going to be hard enough fitting everyone in as it is. I even put up a possible starting XI & managed to miss out both Cook and Mowatt. Heyho, should be a good season. In the Hock I trust (for now at least), MOT
I only want wins of course shaks but Im sure you see my point. I hope were all wrong about hockaday anyway and he is a success
I do Eire, but team always comes first...like you say it's too early to judge the manager, but I haven't warmed to him. I should add that I can take losing when I can see the players trying..
If we had been beaten last night Hock would be gone by now. He has probably earned at least 2 more games in charge due to the fact that half a dozen new players have landed or are on their way. Even Cellino will accept that he needs a couple of weeks to get his message over? But of we don't win the next 2 games by 14 goals he can fook off
with all the signings we're making (ten and counting) there is a lot more positivity on our forum now ... it is certain that Cellino is not settling for mid table obscurity, that's for sure ... the common theme now seems to be Hock and his ability to actually use the abundance of talent available to him ... surely now he will stop talking up the likes of Hunt and White and they will be moved on ... surely now he will give Charlie Taylor a starting spot ahead of Warnock at left back ... surely now he will admit when he gets his "tactics" wrong and change what's not working ... I have one big fear, and this is not a joke - I have a suspicion the players are not playing for Hock, regardless of what one or two might say to the camera ... the awfully slow start at Millwall was not that of a team up for it and raring to go on the opening day, and this made me think the spark isn't there because the players don't believe in their manager ... I may be wrong, but I cannot see the players we now have in our dressing room looking up to Hock and Junior and running through walls for them
