Oh dear how bitter is that Vetch? Why would you want us to have a big fine? maybe you should rethink that one mate!.................
Although I don't agree with Vetch, its pretty rich that the likes of Dai and Dragon are the ones picking him up on it after their history, they should keep quiet when it comes to such stuff, as was kindly provided by Terror earlier today....lol No different to wanting us to lose is it fella's?
It's called "learning a lesson". Fines are imposed as a means of discouraging certain types of behaviour. I don't particularly "want us to have a fine". I would have preferred this nonsense not to have happened, viz,Swansea actually honouring an agreement, and not trying to be smart, and wriggle out of it. If the powers that be think similarly, and impose some kind of punishment, then that may act as some kind of deterrent. Nothing "bitter" about it. That's where I come from. You clearly come from somewhere else.
So now I'm a Cardiff fan simply because I have standards of behaviour which are clearly alien to the likes of you. Better you go and load up your plastic gun with some plastic bullets and shoot some tin cans in the street,or wherever.
Never called you a Cardiff fan. Try and read it again. You obviously need to read things a few times before you understand even the simplest post.
Now you are trying to be TOO CLEVER,and it doesn't suit you. The inference was quite clear, and now you add disingenuousness to all your other failings.
Jesus! Ever read Orwell's '1984'? Look up the term "doublespeak". You said that what Vetch had written "could have been written by a Cardiff fan". You then said; "No true fan would want his club to hit by a big fine.". As Vetch advocated a fine you are clearly stating that he cannot be a "true fan" having earlier implied that what he had written sounded like a statement from a Cardiff fan. Everybody knew exactly what you meant. It is snide to say such things and then try to weasel out of them. I agree with Vetch in principle. I don't want us to have to cough up as that harms us financially, but the people who I would hold responsible for that are those who took the decision. In much the same way that I wouldn't want to see my son banged up for stealing, but if he was to knock a post office over I would advocate the law dealing with him as they do everyone else....for his own good. This is very much about right and wrong....regardless of whether we can get away with it this time or not....if another club had done this to us the very same people attacking the likes of Vetch would be spitting blood. It's infantile. Really. This stuff shouldn't need explaining to grown men.
Pair of self serving hypocrites, swans. Very refreshing to see a poster expressing their disagreement without the necessity to abuse and insult those they disagree with. Cheers, swan.
No inference at all there. I try and keep my posts as simple as possible when replying to you but even that wasn't simple enough.
I'll tell you what...why don't we start with you admitting you were wrong? After all, both I and Vetch are "true fans" who would advocate their club being "hit by a big fine."....and we have a mutual dislike of Cardiff City also. So you were wrong weren't you sunshine?
Bad analogy. You say "I wouldn't want to see my son banged up for stealing" yet that's what LIERTARIAN would want. He's clearly stated he wants a "hefty fine". His equivalent would be a father shouting "He's fücking guilty" from the public gallery then "String him up" when the verdict is announced.
Wrong that the post could have been written by a Cardiff fan? Don't think so. Wrong that a true fan would wish the best for their club and not always see them in the worst possible light like you do? Don't think so.
Im with Terror and Lib here. If the club has done wrong, they need to learn their lesson, as is the case for all of us. None of us should be immune to face the music, and the club should be no different. We all want what's best for the club, but there are those who think punishment is one way to try and get the club to learn, and learn they need to do. I personally feel, after thinking about it, that if the club has done wrong, then a fine should be issued. Not to spite the club, but for us to learn from it. I find your stance, more head in sand Jack. Put it this way. if the club has done wrong, what do you think would be a suitable punishment? Should we pretend it hasn't happened? Should we think there should be no punishment because its our club? What if it was Cardiff in the same boat, would you wish for no punishment there? Or would you be pushing for punishment. ME personally I see vetch and terror as true fans, why? Because they are not blinkered, they are not blinded by their love of the club, and are not afraid to say what needs to be done for us to learn, you on the other hand think having the audacity to admit what may need to happen for us to learn, as being the enemy, are you that blinkered to think we should get away with it, or that blinkered that you are not even able to say we should be punished if found to have done wrong? Does that make you a true fan? Not in my eyes.
