One of my favourite all time City goals in a game Leeds eventually won 4-3 (injury time winner by Strachan). I have tried to describe this goal to my son but he is desperate to see it for himself (he is City mad and got his first pass for next season). Anyone got a link, would be much appreciated. Vinny Jones scored a similar goal in same match, however, in my opinion Doyles was better because it was a full volley!

Remember it well, was a fantastic game, brilliant atmosphere in the away end, Strachan scored after about 5 minutes of added on time. Doyles goal was a cracker, can't remember rightly but Vinny Jones goal might have been from goalkeeping mistake or defensive error.

Much appreciated. My lad has just got in from school and we have just watched it (about 6 times!). What a goal and the first time I have seen it from that angle. I can still remember being stood at the match and watching the ball from the side angle hitting the back of the net in almost disbelief due to the distance of the goal! The ball seemed to travel quite high and looped down into the top corner.
There used to be extensive highlights of this game on YouTube, sadly they seem to have been taken down. Downloaded the first four goals' worth of highlights before it was removed including a stunning volley from Vinnie Jones, much better than Doyle's!
