Lfc have made our choice..... Manquillo might be a bargain in the end... This kid spurs can add to thier rb pole
Don't Spurs need to get rid of some players before buying new ones? Squad of 32 (I think) someone from their management said last week, now 33...
Said to be 11 players they want rid of. But who'd be worth buying, the only ones clubs would want are the ones Spuds are going to keep hold of. And the ones they would sell are likely to be priced too high for the clubs wanting them. Spuds are either going to be left with too many players and a ridiculous wage bill or they'll have to accept low bids
Only outfield player I'd be interested in is Eriksen but we've already more than covered in that area of the pitch. I'd take Lloris though. Both fall into the highlighted bit.
Possibly Paulinho. I do think he's a good player, first year in England and he shown glimpses of being a good player.
Townsend, Lennon, Soldado, Dawson, Assou-Ekotto, Naughton, Chiriches, Sandro, Capoue, Chadli and Dembele are the players supposedly up for sale. Some decent players there but nothing stand out really worth paying for.
I think we could do with another CM, but only if we got rid of Lucas. I think he's a better player than Lucas.
I really rated Ekotto a few years back but something went wrong in the background, certainly never did anything wrong on the pitch IMO. Dawson is a decent defender but a bit old now. I like Dembele but wouldn't want us to sign either. I wouldn't mind Sandro though, we lack a batard in the middle.
Negredo going to be left out of citys Champions league squad. Cant see him being happy about that. Cheeky bid?
They'll keep him Think this fits with; clubs wanting these players are going to be priced out of making a move, not just fees but wages too. Lennon, Townsend, Assou, Dawson would all be targets for mid table or newly promoted teams, but would likely cost too much. Capoue, Chadli, Soldado, Chiriches, Dembele might attract European clubs, depending on the fee. Naughton, Championship standard. Sandro is the only one I'd be interested in.
I can't see any difference between Negredo and Bony other than one will cost a bit more and a lot more in wages. Both are very similar. Negredo can only play 1 position (centrally) so wouldn't be flexible to play wide and he's not quick so wouldn't be running in behind. Also went through a big goal drought last year as well.
