Osvaldo was a mistaje but is at least understandable. The cup team wasn't THAT weak and I blame Rickie just as much!
Really good that we brought in a manager who relies completely on wingers straight after then isn't it
Apropos of nothing, it does always surprise me how teams go with manager first, style second when they have to bring in a new hire, even if it means turning over the whole roster. Yeah, it makes sense when you're doing terribly, because it clearly isn't working, but you see it even with top clubs when a manager departs.
I was just thinking, assuming Cork leaves - who is left from our Championship promotion squad, so here goes... (including anyone who represented Saints in any of the 46 games that season) Manager - Nigel Adkins - GONE Kelvin Davis - HERE Bartosz Bialkowski - GONE Danny Butterfield - GONE Frazer Richardson - GONE José Fonte - HERE Aaron Martin - GONE Danny Seaborne - GONE Jos Hooiveld - HERE Dan Harding - GONE Danny Fox - GONE Steve De Ridder - GONE Guly do Prado - GONE Richard Chaplow - GONE Dean Hammond - GONE Jack Cork - GONE Morgan Schneiderlin - HERE Iago Falque - GONE Lee Holmes - GONE Ben Reeves - GONE Jason Puncheon - GONE Adam Lallana - GONE Rickie Lambert - GONE Billy Sharp - GONE David Connolly - GONE Lee Barnard - GONE Jonathan Forte - GONE Tadanari Lee - GONE
Wow. One want away, one who will likely never play again and the mighty Jose. Shows what a huge turnover we've had.
