One situation involved a very motivated buyer and an opposite number that does not need to sell.

The other involved a very motivated seller and an opposite number that can afford to bargain.

 

They read stuff, the pretend to know first, but nothing out of the ordinary. They also get offended & defensive real quick, that's how we spot them.

I think there are a couple of people with bona fide connections with Saints people, but they're equally willing to say when they don't know about stuff. Not convinced there are too many bullshitters? This Cork thing has really upset you tonight, no!!?

 

Punch and Cork for a combined 4.5m is pretty great business.

 

In that case it sound like there is plenty of options from the academy even if some don't work out.

I personally hope there are some Chambers like revelations (he seemingly came out of nowhere as a right back challenging Clyne last summer. Previously played elsewhere I believe?)

 

Is now the time to tell you that was 100% Poch, not Punch, with that decision? The family stuff wasn't real. He was told up front and honestly by Poch (who he still massively respects) that he wouldn't be playing.
